I’m responding with a paid annual subscription in appreciation and support of the work you do. Clear explanations of conflicts both in this country, and abroad help your readers better understand that there is more that should unite people, than divide us.
The first article I read let me know that you were someone I could trust to tell me the truth! Your articles are informative & insightful.
Thank you for your time, talent & hard work that you dedicate to bringing us the info we need!
PS: I note that the comment above mine from Helen Chapman with regards to a subscription. I have 5 gift subscriptions & I would be quite happy to share 1 with her. Just need an email or text number as I am not on "X"
I have considered becoming a paid subscriber but I am a Brit in the UK with family in the USA. I am against foreign interference in the democratic politics of other countries, particularly financial. I am also uncomfortable in using the argument that £40 a year is different to the involvement of, say a Russian oligarch, because that is a slippery slope. If it is ethically wrong, then it is wrong across the board. On the other hand I have family and friends impacted by their Govt's policies and my Grandchildren here in UK will be impacted too. Hence my following your posts. We are also restricting our open contacts with the USA at the moment - just in case!!
Support in whatever way you feel comfortable. To be sure, I'm not an elected official. I'm a human rights lawyer and a writer. You supporting me is nothing like an oligarch buying some election.
You have definitely established a wonderful and meaningful substack in a relatively short time to say the least-- keeping it up and we know that you will. Here's a short commentary that I wrote to commiserate Trump's second first hundred days:
Your substack matters to me, not only do you tell us the objective truth. You also bring the receipts. Some truths are hard to hear. And during the 2024 election any criticism of "our" candidate may sway someones mind. Even when we realized the alternative. But they made the mistakes, not you. And your legal background makes you able to answer legal questions without having to consult someone also. I have good instinct of knowing what is true or a lie. But to prove it takes some effort, thats why lies are so effective. They require only imagination. And you're particularly good at that.

Qasim, thank you immensely for the work you do.
You have become as important to me as Amy Goodman when it comes to Journalism and just general Humanity.
This is by far the best way of spending my money.

Thank you, Lianne. I appreciate you!
OK where are those concrete suggestions beyond subscribing and joining marches?
I've written about this numerous times. Here's a recent article where I document at least 7 different things you can and should be doing if in your ability: https://www.qasimrashid.com/p/100-days-in-trumps-fascist-regimeand
Loved your video with brother Wajahat!
We're doing those more and more regularly now!

Your writing keep me on an even keel, in these times it is a chore!
Thank you Deb!
