My Canadian friend, who founded and managed the rescue in Guatemala where I volunteered when I lived there (she’s now back in Canada), is a gifted dog trainer, and has positively affected the lives of so many dogs and cats, and humans. She and her colleagues from the Academy of Dog Trainers put this video together a few years ago.

As the old leader gets sicker, he will lash out with a vengeance. And many will follow along, so as not to upset him--go figure.
