If so, Europeans should be meeting in crisis mode and preparing to join the force or to insist on a UN peacekeeping force that can take on Israel if the agreement is broken. I would place much more faith in France and Britain (and others) than in Arab nations after reading this, and have always felt they should be included in the peacekeeping force.

This leads uninformed people in the Comments sections of the Times and Post to blame it all on them for not accepting two states when they could.
