Few can match today's Dad joke.

Your daughter already figured it out. You help people. Then she weaponized that truth in pursuit of a puppy. That’s not manipulation—that’s advanced civic engagement training.

Also, “microqasim”? Sir, that’s either the best dad joke of the week or grounds for a congressional ethics probe.

Qasim the old saying rings true, "Out of the mouths of babes." Your daughter knows more than you think. Also all children are courtroom lawyers in their own special way lol. I love your dad jokes. You know why? Because they are self deprecating. Trumps MAGA crowd laugh at what trump calls a joke which are always ways of being insulting and putting other people down. A lack of a sense of humour now has to count as yet another sign your leader is a despot!

Love the dad joke! Reminds me of my dad - he was a serious punster.

Superb!

A little bit of both - get the puppy! ;) And I agree with getting a shelter mutt - as a former volunteer at the animal shelter - they seem to know you save each other - and are so loving and grateful.

Get her the puppy, a shelter dog, & go with her to pick it out. She is old enough for the responsibility. Don’t forget to take pictures.

Before I read the rest of the recap: yes, she buttered you like a hot biscuit. Carry on.

Man, I really respect how you tie family into the fight for justice. That story about your daughter hit hard. It reminds me why I’m building my own project, Stormside, from the ashes of recovery and pain, so my kids inherit more than just struggle, they inherit legacy. Keep doing what you’re doing, Qasim. Voices like yours keep the fire lit.

I had a female std poodle named crystal. When I was training for marathons in my younger days she used to accompany me on my work outs...12 to 30 milers. I miss her so much. Recently switched to biking cause don't feel like running any more. *78yo* It's worked out well combining off with on road work outs. Finding it more pleasurable esp"ly off road. But a dog can accompany you on your long road work outs. You'll enjoy the company.

Cheers

Lol
