The scary part isn’t random internet trolls saying hateful things. Every religion has those. The scary part is when people close to power start talking about deporting an entire religion or framing wars as some kind of holy crusade. That language has a very ugly history.

Criticizing governments, extremists, or policies is fair. Painting 2 billion Muslims as enemies of civilization isn’t. Once politicians start treating whole populations as disposable, history usually gets very dark very quickly.

Blessed are those who can still tell the difference between security and scapegoating, for they might be the last adults left in the room.

💕 it’s always so weird to me because as a person of faith myself I really do not have a problem with any of another faith or none. That’s never been in my own personal metrics of basing how I view someone. For me personally it’s always been the content of one’s character so of course there are certain people that I choose not to be associated with other than that faith really has nothing to do with it. I personally do not believe in Christian nationalism or project 2025 either and have no problem saying so either. Who are you as a person, content of character ,behavioral patterns when a person shows you who they are believe them etc is more my thing

I'm not Christian, but that shouldn't matter. Karma will rear its ugly head one day and I hoped that I will be around to see that happen to this Trump administration.

It doesn't matter what religion, color or creed that you are, humanity is just that for humans and that's something we all are.

Kindness, caring, Love, peace, understanding, equality seems to be a weakness in this country. If appears I need to move then.

I am still stunned by the amount of antisemitism proudly shared online by the MAGA crowd. And I include Muslims in that because my understanding is that most Muslims and Arabs in the "Middle East" are Semitic. People forget that. Or never knew it. Or refuse to acknowledge it.

The same people who swear up and down that they are good Christians, patriots, and blahblahblah have no problem talking absolute shit about Jews and Muslims. Lots of stereotypes, blamed for everything, and so many fantasies about extreme violence against them. It's upsetting.

I'm an atheist and I'm deeply disturbed by the reprehensible sentiments being expressed. I am so sorry for the pain these words and actions cause Jews, Arabs, and Muslims.

So sick of being on this carnival egg scrambler ride with its dizzying circles from anti-Native to anti-Black to anti-Muslim to anti-Hispanic to anti-all brown people and back again. So done with these ignorant Christian Nationalists. It’s been many decades already. My entire life. Enough! The real enemy of freedom and human needs the world over is quasi religious bigotry and its exploitation by the Epstein class. Take them down and maybe the world can breathe in PEACE for a while.

You said it, this is the 21st century, we're supposed to be better than this!

The United States has been at war or fomenting coups or exporting violence in some other way for over 200 of its 250 year existence to Empire build. To steal resources, to subjugate citizens of other countries. That is the resl story, the cover story is, that like Superman the United States stands for liberty and justice for all!

My point is to contradict you and say the hatred we are seeing is Amerikkka!

Secretary Sparkle Pony might want to read a history boo before he starts throwing around the word "Crusade". Those didn't work out very well for the crusaders, who went 1-6-1 in the series.

And all things considered, I don't think it'll go better this time around. They imagine the killing the Iranian head of state will cause the people to rise up and transform the national politics of a nation of 90 million people overnight. What's far more likely to happen is all the anti-American hate that's been bubbling there in varying degrees of intensity will calcify into a solid monolith and any attempt to break it down will result in another misbegotten Afghanistan until the last plane out of Tehran becomes the latest echo of the last chopper out of Saigon.

I don't say this out of admiration for the Iranian people; I say it because this is what *always happens* when a great power attempts to impose "revolution" in a smaller country. Most recently we've seen it in Ukraine. Putin imagined he would steamroll the overmatched Ukranian army in a matter of weeks, perhaps even days. Here we are 4 years later, and he holds less ground than he did 4 weeks in.

I *do feel* for the Iranian people -- both for their past oppression and for the ignorance-spawned indignities we are subjecting them to in its place, at the behest of Israel. And also for our part in bringing both of these things about with our meddling at the behest of Britain (and more specifically British Petroleum) in 1953. If not for that, all of what came after might have been avoided. (or it might not -- all that happened before my parents even met so I only know about it at a remove.) But imperialists by definition aren't big on self-determination.

U.S. troops have been trained to think they are doing God's will. It wasn't always this way. I'm a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. What you are about to see was totally absent from the Marine Corps in 1965.

My sister is a white Christian nationalist. She thought this would cheer me up. Instead, it depressed me. This was filmed five years ago at Camp Pendleton, I think. Marines singing "Days of Elijah"--and interjecting "oorah" between verses.

As much as our politicians claim Muslims want Jihad, they are indoctrinating ours to do the same.

They're indoctrinating ours to do what THEY THINK jihad is. Which is something quite different to what it actually is.

I try to limit any hatred that I have in my heart to tyranny, cruelty, injustice, and intolerance, and I admit that it is not easy to keep such hatred confined to these things. One can hate these things without violence, but when you add people to that list, it becomes impossible to act and conduct oneself in a manner of peace.

As it stands, Iran posed no threat to the US, they did not attack us, and I believe this war was not justified by an legal or ethical standards. Sure, the Iranian government is despicable, as are others...our own leadership, for example...yet there was no reason for this, except for trump to do a few things, like drive up oil prices, which would make his Big Oil billionaire friends ecstatic beyond measure. Another reason trump would pull this stunt is in order to provoke some Islamic terrorists to start carrying out terrorist attacks in the US, thus giving himself a reason to invoke martial law, and possibly even cancelling the midterm elections (Yeah, I know, the states run the elections, but that will NOT stop trump from trying). And then there are those ever-inconvenient, ever-annoying Epstein files...

I will end here.

I don't think he--or any of his minions--was thinking about what would happen to oil prices nearly as much as they were thinking about how proud Bibi and all those Bored of Peace members, Qatar, and the crowd giving billions to Jared would be of him. Not that I think he or his minions actually think at all.

Thank you, Qasim. Here we go again with the anti-Muslim hate speech and threats. It’s always the same. As an immigrant to this country myself, I am sick of the noxious bigotry and Islamophobia. Heaps of shame on Laura Loomer and Brandon Gill. Loony Laura is a lost cause, but Gill must be censured by the House or even better, ejected altogether. (Not holding my breath.)

Qasim, I appreciate your work so much. Just upgraded to Paid! ✌🏼 Sending hugs to you and your family. Please stay safe.

Firstly let me apologize for all of the ignorant people out there. I hope they don’t think they are Christians. Secondly only people uneducated or live in their own reality believe this and are anti Muslim. Please know it is not a majority of people. Maybe Islam should be taught in schools. 🙏

I was given a copy of the Quran at a university event once, so I took it home and read it. I found it beautiful, and the religion it described was/is amazing. Now, I'm not sure the version I got was the "full, unredacted" copy, but I didn't see anything in it about jihad, any more than I see anything in my New Testament about abortion or homosexuality, etc., etc. So yeah, I think if we actually taught people what Islam is about (and got them to read their own bibles instead of making crap up), we might have a whole lot better world.
