In supplementing the descriptions of the character of TRUMP fascism, I liked Zoe’s suggestions. I liked Qasim’s suggestions. More “hands on board” DOING something. We are not likely to influence the thinking of Trump’s allies- let’s focus on influencing the ACTIONS of OUR allies - and those still representing the rule of law , truth, and a bit of morality.

The term Fifth Column is largely forgotten today but between the two world wars as Nazi's consolidated power in Germany they financed at very high levels a fifth column of Nazi sympathizers including some internationally recognized rabid anti semites who were instructed to rouse and empower Americans with existing antisemitic reputations. They paid for this with money seized/extorted from wealthy Jewish residents and other funds seized from the German government. They were panicked at the thought of the US intervening against their plans and the US was flooded with propaganda. Up to Pearl Harbor a majority of Americans were "pacifists" willing to let Hitler have his way. Throughout the War the Fifth column kept up its flow of disinformation. At the end of the war prosecutors tried to convict the the paid Nazi propagandists but the case collapsed as the bad actors thoroughly disrupted the court room and Americans were so sick of the war and jubilant about victory they did not care. The Nazi party never really disappeared and as a result Trump & Co have found it easy to revive the barbarians. (Read Rachel Maddox's book)

I doubt the ICE thugs and enablers are aware that once Hitler had used his brown shirt thugs to seize full power, he had most of them killed. They might want to research, "Night of the Long Knives", to see what their futures might hold.

Ridiculousness is the norm, not the outlier. So many people have shown the ability to believe this garbage that they are now willing to eat it, even if it doesn't fill their bellies.

Meanwhile, Mamdani attempts to reach out despite being called a communist by a fascist leader.

From the Parnas Perspective:

"New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani confirmed he has reached out to the White House to schedule a meeting with President Trump, aiming to address New York’s affordability crisis despite months of sharp clashes between the two, while Trump signaled openness to the meeting even as he continues to label Mamdani a “communist” and dismiss voter concerns about the economy."

I admire Mamdani's attempt. He shows reason in the face of the unreasonable.

I have bookmarked this post & hope to disseminate it, because this is an extremely good, accurate analysis of what's being perpetrated by this regime.

Verry good and clear objectif analyses. And to not forget, it starts with language and images. dehumanising language that has the purpose of justification. ‘They eating your dogs ‘ -stories … . that’s why , after fascism in Europe, our leaders decided that our right to free speach would not anymore include language dehumanising groups and justifying or inciting violence on them. I know Americans disagreed on this, but I think after this neofascist corporate regime is gone, you will have the same discussion.

Malignant Narcissism: an extreme mix of narcissism and psychopathy.

Marked by a lack of empathy, lack of conscience, sadism, lying & manipulation & a grandiose sense of self-importance or uniqueness; an exhibitionistic need for constant attention and admiration; the exploitation and dehumanizing of others. Trump is a malignant narcissist.

Im starting to think the only people who "hate" culture differences are the uneduated white men (and their bitches) from all white sections of the country (if there are eny left) who have NEVER interacted with a person who doesn't look like them. In so many ways, they are the ones missing out.

If people want to know what the current govt thinks of all of us citizens, they have only to compare the treatment Zelenskyy received on his ill-fated visit to the Oval Office to the welcome MBS will receive today. If that doesn't put you, as a US citizen, in your place, you are living in fantasy-land. If you are not over-the-top wealthy, you are meaningless to this government.

This needs to be disbursed to the general population - postcards, billboards, on-line pop-ups “stay united in compassion with people NOT like yourself”. How do we make THIS happen?

Keep sharing and disseminating. Show up to town halls. Build and organize. No quick fix unfortunately, but we need to be consistent.
