As of last May, US citizens are required to have a "Real ID" in order to board airplanes or enter a federal building. Here is the documentation needed according to Google: "To obtain a REAL ID, you must visit your state's driver’s licensing agency (e.g., RMV/DMV) in person and provide original or certified documentation proving identity/lawful presence, Social Security number, and residency. Required documents usually include a U.S. passport or birth certificate, SSN card or W-2, and two proofs of residency (e.g., utility bill, lease)."

It seems to me that the SAVE Act is redundant, in addition to being punitive.

“However, no action is required of registered voters who have already changed their names and are not making a change to their voting information. That means the roughly 69 million married women who have changed their surnames, as well as likely hundreds of thousands of transgender citizens and others with changed biographical data, will not have to do anything if they are already registered to vote.”

The requirement to appear in person at the time of registration will also disenfranchise millions of military and overseas voters.

If the SAVE ACT passes it needs to have included in the bill that all required documents for said ID be free of Charge:

Birth Certificate

SSC

Marriage License

etc.

...and protected, paid time off of work to deal with all of it.

And a free attorney, if need be, to navigate the system to ensure smooth and worry free adherence to the law.

Then the Federal Government should be required to fund more hires because they are the ones pushing to burden the States with this ridiculous, disenfranchising bill. The point here is that there should be zero $ in fees to vote and zero suppression of citizens being able to vote. Any documents that require payment to acquire is violating the "No Poll Tax". 2nd class citizenship is un American.

Lies. All lies. This will not end women's voting rights. Only ILLEGAL women! Yes! You morons

Perhaps women should stop marrying men, divorce and/or change your last name to vote in any future elections. This is an absolute resolution against women by this administration and the Republican party. The save act only inhibits legal voting while still allowing minor or perhaps newly AI designed voting fraud.

Additionally, many state election offices began using U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS) Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements program in 2025 to verify voter citizenship. Records from this program show that just 0.04% of voter verification cases are returned as noncitizens.

Thanks, Qasim. Excellent article. Methinks the Dump regime wants to take us back to the early days of our Republic, when voting rights were a privilege given only to a small, elite part of the population. In fact, until the mid-1850s, only twenty-one-year-old white men who owned land (and who were not Catholics, Jews or Quakers) could vote. For many years American citizens were denied the right to vote based on their race, gender, religion, age, economic status, immigration status, and place of residence.

Women in particular were forbidden to vote until 1920, via the passage of the 19th Amendment. No wonder the Dump regime is so anxious to ram through the SAVE Act. They are determined to repress the female vote (and have even whispered about repealing the 19th Amendment altogether). A return to the good old days of male dominance!

Well, I guess Melania can't vote! Hahahaha.

I took back my birth name when I was divorced, and when I remarried I kept it. Mrs your-husbands-name is my title, but I still have my birth name. I don't remember how it worked when I was married the first time, but if it's an official name change, marriage certificates can be obtained from your courthouse if you don't know where yours is, and it has your birth name on it. Get one! Don't let these cheating bastards put their foot on your neck. Fuck that shit.

And all of the women you’re married to or engaged to will have your a$$ if you don’t allow women to vote & agree with that A$$ for even suggesting it. Think very very clearly before you sign anything / words of warnings!

Patricia Searles's avatar

Nooooooo way. This is unfair not to allow the female population our right to vote. Neither The Donald or his followers have a right to decide who’s views are accepted & who’s isn’t. Stop spreading this crap & don’t touch our votes!
