Considering we know that Gaza was the no 1 reason people didn't vote. I don't think that people voted on TacoDon because of Gaza. And as Qasim pointed out, TacoDon didn't really pick up votes.
But Greg Palast found out that voter supression won TacoDon the election. But desite heavy voter supression, he barely won. Not a landslide by any standard.
Glad to see that the very experienced Dean Fulehan has joined the Mamdani administration. I’m optimistic that there will be significant progress for New Yorkers in spite of the mean-spirited opposition of the one per cent. Exciting times ahead.
