Regarding the No Kings Protest, agreed need more than just protest. And actually NO KINGS coalition developed the ONE MILLION RISING campaign July 2025. This was a way for local groups to come together and RISE UP. From their website "That’s why this summer(2025), we’re launching One Million Rising—a national effort to train one million people in the strategic logic and practice of non-cooperation, as well as the basics of community organizing and campaign design. From my personal experience, folks just don't want to put the effort into bringing about real change. Sometimes, it is just like pulling teeth to get people to call their elected and voice their opinion on a bill.
Tell the folks in Michigan who to call. I’m too old for door to door. I don’t personally know anyone voting for Hayley, but my Jewish friends are quiet. I give money and help as I can, but beyond Jeffries who do I encourage friends to call about supporting Abdul?
I’ve never liked Mike Rogers. our current Michigan Senator. However, I truly felt gobsmacked when he ran a campaign ad that promised to protect Elon Musk if we reelected him. I read, I listen, I actually study issues and yet here under my nose is craziness.
It's about time you started to recognise that those marches/protests don't mean anything to little dicktator. He has been called more bad names than you've ever learned. So doing the work of getting people who have a hard time getting their right to vote is a positive move. Stop repeating all his bullshit and fight back! No more silly costumes and saying things that he laughs at. Do something! Also protect your neighbours against ICEstapo at the polling booths. They are trying to scare you. Be not afeared folks. More of you than there are of them is a FACT!
I am not an American so my involvement in your politics is illegal. What I do is observe. Sometimes people don’t see the forest for the trees as you know. I also know that you’re not “asking politely” but if that passive aggressive mode of response is how you speak then I understand that also.
Thank you guys for being a moral beacon. Good people never have to tear others down, but I think the American way is to destroy others to feel better about ourselves. I’m a lover, not hater. Thank you for teaching me and making me better!

I so much appreciate the CLARITY of your arguments for democracy and for people who will uphold/save it while calling on all of US to do our best possible part. I wished the Dems could cut a slice off of this demonstration of democratic engagement and nurture it.
I give you the evidence of Democrats not being ready for the moment, and it goes back years, but b/c he's in the news now, Mitch's theft of SCOTUS was perfect evidence of the total lack of backbone of the democrats.

I’m a white, suburban, SAHM and I am curious at the democrats. Not just disappointed - FURIOUS!
