I just found out today, that I am personally affected as the grant that covers a portion of my eyeball shots (for wet AMD) is among the affected grants, so that means that after I meet my insurance deductible my copay is around $800 without the grant, instead of around $120 with the grant. As a person in their 80's on SS, the shots slow down my going blind and keep me driving my car and being independent. I'm sure there are others who have an even more trying time and suffering from this horrendous act of shear power and control by persons with no compassion for others. I hope this is an impeachable offense and those who need to do this are brave enough to do it. I'm just in shock at such callous behavior towards our fellow Americans. Thank you for all you do to keep us informed of what is going on and I value your opinion very much.
Thank you for the information about how to thank my Attorney General in NC, who is working to defend all Americans. We all have friends, coworkers, or family that will be impacted by the actions of this administration and the harm will be felt widely across the nation. I made this point to my right leaning office mates today and could see them beginning to make the connection.

In the JFK JR. confirmation hearings today a male Republican Senator acted like it was a glitch that the Medicaid access portals were down and not operative, as if it was a technical glitch and had nothing to do with the illegal executive order. It was early in the hearing and I don’t remember which Senator it was.. Rewriting the facts already.

Yes. When I called my election denier congressman, his office was pretending the same thing and accusing the media of deception and over reaction. But Jay Kuo clearly documents that the shutdowns were deliberate and only walked back due to the outcry.
At this point it’s kind of like, “When they go low, then they go lower.” This is just reprehensible. And they seemingly really don’t have any idea of the consequences of what they do - just “Oh cool and cruel idea! Let’s do it!”

I appreciate that at least Vermont leaders have fast responses, gotta keep on top of this Trump guy, he's moving fast. I do not take it for granted and will keep in contact.I appreciate how you pulled out these stats - wow 41 % of births covered by Medicaid in America? This is the work of the "pro-life" party? And of course Trump's policies harm his supporters...he distracts them so much with the racist rhetoric they don't even notice until it's too late how he will cause harm to all of the working and middle class. The mainstream media needed to and needs to push back harder on the Trump messaging...and I agree with Conner there needs to be stronger pushback from Democratic opposition all around.

Trump tried to impound congressional funds, the money to Ukraine, and he was impeached.
He is now impounded all foreign aid, and all of the nations funds. He has also illegally fired IGs, FBI, and orhers,again, illegally.
