Gluesenkamp Perez calls herself "The Independent Voice" of our district. Sadly she's the best of the lot. A progressive Democrat would never win this district, and we'd end up with a MAGA which is scary.
Qasim, Thank you for giving a 78 y/o woman a way to "walk" by giving us a site to make a donation. Donation made.
Don't we have enough to worry about? Now we have to worry about our own party voting against our own interests...the main one being democracy? Hakeem Jeffries is failing the party. I understand the importance of working across the aisle. A 2 party system is healthy for a democracy to survive, however this is NOT that. We're facing a dictatorship and the Democrats who are signing bills that sell their voters out, to satisfy their corporate donors, should not have a seat in Congress! We need to make the midterms too big to rig.
Cuellar, Golden and Gluesenkamp Perez have been on my radar for some time as abetting some of Trump's policies, for their individual reasons. Davis, Gray and Gonzales are new to me.
Thank you, Qasim, for your efforts. The SAVE Act is an abomination 🤬 As a female, I have to add how unfairly it treats women who are married and have taken their husband’s name.
This isn't the first time Henry Cuellar has been on the wrong end of things. He's been in Congress for 20 years. He won his primary with nearly 60% of the vote.
Is his district really that happy with him? If so, we have a hearts and minds problem.
Republican sheep in Democrat clothing. Nancy Pelosi and the Dems backed Cuellar at a time when he could have been defeated by a progressive (Jessica Cisneros). He and Dems like Schumer and Jeffries are disgusting. There's a reason why Trump pardoned him.
I always hope that this country can be saved. But it is distressing when 6 Democrats take the position of a man who is, obviously-to-all, seriously mentally ill and also suffering dementia. How on Earth do we make sense of that? When not a SINGLE person in government takes revelatory action as the death of a US Senator is intentionally hidden from all of us (is this even legal?) but, instead, they all every one of them play along with the ?game? We no longer have a government.
Don Davis is the congressman from my congressional district and I haven’t lived here very long. But from what I can gather, he is basically black maga. He votes with them a lot. I guess he is trying to keep his congressional seat, but he stands for nothing. He’s up for re-election and I’ll be hard pressed to vote for him. He’s no better than the maga republican he’s running against. This is the problem, we have no good choices either way far too often.
Thank you, Qasim. Thanks for doing what too many seem to find impossible: remaining honestly sober about our troubles, yet offering up possible solutions. I just don't see this unique combination often enough.
Why do Americans believe that those who are supposed to be Democrats still believe that they are democrats when they don't actually stick up for democratic talking points. I won't say "values" because that word has lost it's meaning in American politics. It appears to me that they have a "meeting" and it's decided that, to make them still look like democrats, they will allow just enough through to get the votes for republican acts, which they want to support but not overwhelmingly enough to raise suspicion. Even though they know that their constituents won't like it! Why do democratic constituents put up with it? Surely in many instances they can see they are being sold down the river! Does nobody actually care anymore because they have become so cynical? Do they believe that voting them out is going to change anything. Really? It's who you vote in that should be the plan and then stay on their ass so that they don't do this kind of backsliding.
We move forward toward justice together -- voting them out
Resistance is not futile
I would like to write a check to donate to the 1000 miles to Memphis. Can you post a physical address for Just Win Humanity?

Did the turncoats KNOW the “SAFE” voter suppression bill had been shoehorned into the NDAA? Why the f**k would they vote for either?

2 from Texas. I’m not at all surprised.

Honestly. I’m so sick over this. Six Dems voted yes. WHY?
