Re: the dismantling of majority black voting districts.... Here is a thought. When it comes to actual voting days and you have to line up at the polling station, every black voter should be accompanied by one or two other voters (and non voters). This is an old battlefield strategy, make your army look stronger than it is, stick helmets on sticks to show over the battlements parade the soldiers in a continuous circle through the woods, keep most of your reserve battalions hidden but ready.... IN the voting line, look like more voters than there are. If people in the line are monitored and questioned the nonvoters can just say they are there to help "granny", for security, to guide the voter back to the car. If you meet aggression, look the objector right in the eye and say "this is what you get, when you abolish black voting districts, you get black/brown etc. etc. people lined up at 'white' polling stations!"

All the articles and interviews this week were enlightening, Qasim.

There are a lot of solid candidates for office with progressive ideas. I remain seriously worried that, if we even have a Midterm election, any resulting Democrat wins will be overturned. They can't do that?? Come on, they've been able to do pretty much anything they want to date. I'd like the Dems to get out ahead of this: We will have a free and fair election OR ELSE (fill in "or else" ultimatum here). They have a Plan--Project 2025. The Democrats have none. Always playing defense. When I can clearly see the writing on the wall, I'm getting totally fatigued with our only "plan" to counter this threat is "we'll beat 'em in 2028. Hey, ONLY if they 1) hold an election and 2) accept the results. If they don't, what's your plan?????
