It's an incredible way (nothing touches lips from sunup till sundown, if I'm not mistaken) for people to truly know what it's like to be hungry and empathize with those who are. I did it with my Lebanese boyfriend when we dated fifty years ago, and it truly changed the way my heart goes out to those with less.
I will being purchasing the book to give to my grandsons! They attend a Montessori school which advocates & lifts all people. I want them to learn early that loving Muslims & others is very important. Maybe I will send a few copies to the "current regimen"!
