Agreed, this has to end.

My job as a Caregiver is in jeopardy. Plus my client would be very upset. After working for them for 14 years. It would be a hard transition for us. I pray that Democrats will get the win in November. And work to get the benefits back for everyone. 🙏🏻❤️

Healthcare is always one of the programs that get cuts or phase outs of certain procedures, as our Congress and Senate receive under the table money from the overly wealthy and powerful to free that money to their desires. One thing I think you missed an important point, and that is the fraud that is being committed by thousands of legal and illegal Aliens to drain the system to their advantage ( research is showing close to 20 billion and more by this scum class of people that have no respect for their fellow citizens. Much of this is coming from Illegal aliens that are coming from Muslim nations and also from South America. It’s time we quit blaming the system entirely and start arresting and deporting illegal foreigners that have proved they don’t deserve a seat at the table .

Thank you for advocating for those receiving Medicare/Medicaid. How disgusting that we can spend $1,000,000,000 per day for the U.S.-Israeli war. We have plenty of money for bombs, but we do not have enough money to fund affordable healthcare for the most vulnerable. Just plain cruel and abusive.

I am a pediatric ICU doctor. Most of my patients in Florida are on Medicaid. The hospital will start cutting services these patients require inpatient and outpatient such as speech and physical therapists, if not the doctors themselves. Your child's recovery at the sickest time of their lives will be affected.

Once you realize the Epstein class hates you, these cuts will seem almost reasonable. Voting out the current crop of these sociopaths will just usher in the next lot. If voting made any difference they wouldn't allow it.

Despite my previous comments: There are still people who go into health care with the Hippocratic Oath embedded in their brains who have, despite the active resistance of the moneymen and the bigoted predestinarians, managed to forge their way into medical breakthroughs. Some of these, not blackballed by insurers, are actually, grudgingly, available to the peons. OTOH The new breed of government men - appointed by politicians of dubious repute are busily, like termites, undermining the "health of the nation" and carrying the spoils off to their towering mud castles. The old canard about "I'm from the government I'm here to help" has been replaced by the government toadies who make no bones about telling us "I'm from the government, I'm here to imprison you - resistance is futile."!

Well, right up to and including the WW2 generations, organized private or public health care was non existent. Giant pharmaceutical industries did not exist, private health insurance was an innovation only just hanging on, and most hospitals were stand alone institutions, community based, unconnected financially, did not share information, essentially "cottage industries". A very few had financial support from millionaires, maybe even from some municipal or state governments. The quality of medical knowledge and care did not vary much from the days of Florence Nightingale.. Nurses were still drudges, at the beck and call of doctors, and some of them managed to acquire medical knowledge - such as it existed - through apprenticeship training and education provided at individual hospitals. The regulation of both doctors, nurses and other health care workers was primitive.

We now have a late stage predatory capitalist health "care" sector of behemoth proportions, where health care takes a very, "back of the bus" position within a soulless, profit focused juggernaut of vertical and horizontal integration blanketing the nation under a smothering miasma of poisonous malfeasance.

There was a brief interlude where governments at all levels, local, statewide, and federal played an active and positive role in improving health care. Don't blink - because you will have missed it.

The current era of corruption, chaotic misrule, and frantic financial frenzy has not only undone it all but is hell bent on killing off as much of the "useless, surplus" (i.e. impoverished) population as possible. While simultaneously sweeping up every nano particle of wealth the underclass leaves behind.

This posting is already too long (and too negative)- I will stop.

This administration happily cuts programs that many people rely on. This is done while Mr. Trump and his family have monetized the presidency for $9.7B so far. There is a movement in Congress attempting to claw it (or some of it) back under the S.4094 Corruption Claw Back Act.

I have a Medicare story to share. Not Medicaid. Let me know if you are collecting personal stories for the purpose of taking action. I'm not entirely sure that I want to share my story just to air my circumstances. You have my email address and I accept messages.

Thanks Qasim.

For those of us on Medicare, maybe we should be told about it. Hope you will share.

I got kicked off Facebook a year ago when I said the people cutting health care are murderers. I don't miss Facebook and I still say our government is complicit in the deaths of thousands of our citizens.

No one needs to be on FACEBOOK. So you are better off.

I gave up on Facebook when DonOld won the 2024 election. Could not take it anymore. I am much better off without that--and Amazon as well!

Money and will to destroy humanity, but not to improve it. We need to implement a collaborated effort to end the cult of rugged macho individualism.

A hat I recently purchased states: “healthcare for profit is a crime against humanity.“

For Trump's military adventurism. Destabilizing the globe is part of his agenda.

I suppose the billionaires are just waiting for AI and robots to be able to replace all workers. Then they won’t need the rest of us for anything and can just finish us off. Depriving people of necessary health care is really a sad commentary on our sick society. Hillary was right, it’s deplorable - but I’m not sure who’s worse, MAGA or the bros.
