Dad Joke of the Week
Today, a quick lesson on how to use the power of dad jokes to defuse bigotry. This was my response when someone reminded me America is “not a Muslin country.”
Why Your Support Matters: Every dollar we spend is a vote for the kind of future we want. Subscribe to help me create a future more committed to justice and universal human rights. Thank you.
Your response to the person who needed to emphasize that this is not a “Muslin” country made me laugh out loud. Luckily, I was not ingesting coffee at the time. The thing is, I doubt he or she understood your response. These people appear to be living in some alternate universe. Have a restful weekend. Next week is going to be a real doozy.
I have to tell you that this is the first time I have laughed instead of groaned at one of your dad jokes. ❤️
