Thanks for the excellent Qs Qasim-don't buy DNC Chair Martin's mention of injunctions-sorry not enough to little too late. I also don't buy that Dems have been fighting the fight all along-he said nothing to acknowledge the drop in confidence in the party or that Schumer and the usual characters have done little. Tone deafness still reigns in the DNC. Great to get Jones' spirit and dedication. More to come-

Cx Coach got it right, so does Mary S.

I will trust the DNC when I see some real action because they have a lot to make up for!

When it comes to Ken Martin I do not, cannot be supportive of him. In Minnesota he chose to ignore all but the seven county metro area. He is a good orator but that is it. He could care less about rural MN. He is a supporter of Israel. He was a mistake .

I hope you get a longer interview with Ken Martin, I am guessing he follow the mainstream democratic leadership. But I would like to hear about his opinion on Gaza. If it's the usual " Israel has a right to defend themselves" (Which I understand, but an occupant have no rights) Or if he want a Palestinian state solution, if he is in favor of sanctions etc?

Not with the DNC or Martin . He culled David Higg and they continue to oppress the voices in their party and ignore their constituents. New leadership is required . ✌️

Agree, huge mistake bouncing Hogg, who of course is doing another project that I expect will be excellent and continue to honor his values of inclusion and getting meaningful work accomplished for the people. That was a ridiculous move-

Ken Martin was a mistake. He’s either forcefully onboard with what needs doing, or he’s another typical DNC Chair more concerned with what Oprah and George Clooney’s money has to say.

Yeah, I remember that time, back in 1870, when Wild Bill Hickock, faced with a drunken cowboy armed with a knife, brought a gun to a knife fight by running away and leaving the state. Good times!

Ken Martin is such a disappointment to me, he’s got no assertive grit or capacity to lead.

America needs to know that the Democratic Party is the party of everyday working people. Back to the coal mining days the owners cared more if they lost a mule than a man and the company store owned their souls. Labor unions are the only reason people today enjoy paid holidays, healthcare, seniority benefits, time studies, grievance channels, safety & protection laws (which Trump & Republicans are trying to eliminate), child labor laws (which the GOP - Gross Old Pediphile) has already turned back to exploit younger teens, and most important of all a living wage for families. Americans need history lessons of the past clear back to southern slavery. Education is priceless!🇺🇸

And Thank You Representative Jones. Yes, "Pay attention," is the best answer I have heard in response to that question. It makes all the difference. I took democracy for granted, truly. I am paying attention now. If you are paying attention, you are compelled to participate in saying NO in every way you can. Rep. Jones, I hope you will say Pay Attention every time you have the chance. Thank you for your work. Very best from Massachusetts.

It is not the case that "members of congress are using the power of their voice to move public sentiment". It is public sentiment that is using its voice to move members of congress. UUGGGHHH. We don't have time for repetitive rhetoric.

Now is our moment—today take action against this harmful government. They are:

• Spitting on count orders.

• Seeding rot and corruption.

• Shielding a pedophile trafficking ring in plain sight.

• Gut-punching a broken healthcare system—ripping coverage from 13 million lives.

• Abusing the poor, the needy, and children.

• Stealing from the poor to fatten the rich.

I made 54 protest signs to aid protest groups. I will make many more to share. You will see something different in these signs! Help yourself to this second batch, and share them as far as you can.

Yada, yada, yade. More talk, and only some of it is "tough". Typical centrist mentality of trying to work the system to made some changes in the future. Meanwhile, we slide slowly but surely into a dictatorship. Nero fiddles while Rome burns.....

To get change, you need to be about change. You need to bring it every day in every way! It must be done swiftly or there will not be a Democratic Party left. Stop being republican light, and change the narrative about democratic leadership! When the republicans were outside, they took a stance of “No!” They even blamed the president for them doing that! It worked and they have been doing it since then! Get up, stand up or get out of the way so leaders can do whatever is necessary to bring about a change in perception! Thanks, Qasim, for asking these questions of these democrats!

They could improve those ratings pretty quickly if they would embrace economic justice.

This is outstanding coverage of the outrageous power grab in Texas and Democrat strategy. I am so happy finally to hear of Democrats willing to break things. Now they need to stand firm. The only path in this country now is war. There is no negotiating with stormtroopers.

Great interviews.
