Bless you for being The voice of reason when our leaders fail and fail in their humanity. As a young adult in the 1970s, I protested the war in Vietnam and watched the U.S. government murder college students at Kent State. We were told that we didn't know what we were talking about. Sadly, 60 years later, some things never change.

I am grieving for the Palestinians and the state of our world. I am sick and tired of hearing that the Israelis are justified because of the atrocities Hamas committed. I feel that their cruel and any human actions are especially horrifying because of what the Jewish people experienced during The Holocaust. Where is their compassion? Where is their respect for human life and dignity?

I am sick and tired of being told it is anti-Semitic to speak up about genocide and violation of Human Rights. It is pro-human to speak out in favor of compassion and kindness. I would be deeply disappointed in Hillary Clinton's egregious comments, but I am past being disappointed in such as her, and I regret ever respecting her.

Bless you, bless you, Qasim, for always speaking the truth. The informed truth.

Not surprising in light of her inability to face the truth about her “Power Partner” after decades of forgiving his philandering in order to sustain her ambitious dreams. Though I once admired her devotion to women’s issues and her keen mind, anymore I just wish she’d shut the F up.

Oh and why this? $2,352,302 In AIPAC related donations.

Devastating to hear Hillary Clinton dismiss Israeli genocide of Palestinians and to dismiss young voters! Not sure how she missed the CNN documentation of Israeli genocide and the dozens of organizations who have documented the same, including Israeli ones you have referred to! The corporate corruption has totally shut out her morality. Many young people understand that killing innocent Palestinian civilians is wrong and tha nothing justifies genocide! Not a good idea to dismiss young voters, they are not bought out, they are the future, and therefore are a significant part of the solution to bring us out of fascism!

I don’t understand how she can support Israel, I don’t understand why anyone would support Israel. Very disappointed.

Well done on this. Hillary is repugnant. No doubt she is being paid by someone to say this nonsense

I will never forget the time after a 2015 presidential debate, young representatives of the Black Lives Movement requested to meet Clinton backstage. She appeared reluctant but went backstage and briefly listened. A cameraman filmed the meeting. But instead of taking this opportunity to gain black votes she told them "to pull up your bootstraps."

Isn’t this exactly what these young students were doing?

The Clintons are dirty. I wish we had Bernie, not her. We might not be in this Trump mess. Bill and Hillary have no morals. I can’t stand the fascist rotten orange we have in the white house and so I had to vote for her, but she is dirty and corrupt.

Hillary Clinton has a long and bloody history on individual rights on par with Obama, Trump, Bush and Biden.

She and Bill’s cruelly facetious Clinton Foundation raised $10 billion dollars to aid the people of Haiti yet almost all of it is unaccounted for. What is traceable was practically used solely to pay salaries for NGOs. She is the individual responsible for 1) keeping “Sweet Mickey”, a TonTon Macoute thug in power in a fixed election and 2) standing in the way of letting factory workers in Haiti earn more than the equivalent of a quarter a day in wages. She is friends with owners of these sweat shops. Haiti’s northern port was dug out in order for ocean ships to dock in order to haul away all of the nation’s gold, leaving nothing for the nation’s economy. And, in keeping in perfect character, she and Bill got her brother, Hugh Rodham, on the ground floor of this enterprise as an executive with the potential to make millions.

And let’s not forget her championing of the overthrow of democratically elected governments in Honduras and Paraguay as well as her maniacal laugh as she crowed “we came, we saw, he died” in response to Khaddafi’s assassination while Secretary of State under Obama.

Bill and Hillary Clinton, in my opinion, didn’t start this downward trend towards tyranny, genocide and greed (that’s baked into the foundation of the US) but they most certainly gave it a good jump.

And this is one reason why people like Clinton and Harris lost elections to Trump. So many more would have supported them if they had made their moral or ethical stance on Iraq/Afghanistan/Gaza clear and based on justice. It wasn’t just young people, old farts like me voted out of necessity to prevent fascism but we knew we would still be stuck with imperialism. Other voters simply gave up.

1) Incipient dementia?

2) over-reliance on the "bona fides" of the rich and powerful?

3) a modest upbringing subborned by the lure of money?

4) facing old age desperately seeking comfort and acclaim?

Not at all what I expect of HC - what does hubby say?

She's not that much younger than me so her memory of WW2 may be dimmer and maybe her midwest upbringing has warped her mindset? Makes me wonder how I escaped the '50's brainwashing - though a childhood eating lunch to the broadcasts from Lake Success UN debates and the Army-McCarthy hearings and the raucous snorts of laughter from my mother (whom I now consider must have been a radical closet socialist dumped into a stuffy GOP family) may have rewired my brain. I can remember daydreaming through the Pledge of Allegiance and Lord's Prayer mouthing the words automatically and realizing now that a lot of that has vanished from my memory. Good riddens to fake piety.

The one good thing Trump has done is banish Hillary to political outer darkness. She is my answer to those who say that things would be better if only women were in power. Bill, Hillary, the Obamas, is there any way they can stop speaking out for money?
