So it was a performative cease fire. It's time for NATO to act & arrest these two monsters for war crimes then Nuremberg the hell out of them & their enablers.

I knew about the 11 killed by Israel because I follow you and other Substack creators. I sent an email to the NY Times reporters today who wrote about why countries are frightened to be peacekeepers in Gaza because they are afraid of Hamas, that just as it is known that Israel lies all the time, how can anyone not realize by now that the NY Times does too in embracing its role as mouthpiece for Israel. Just disgusting.

They will not be satisfied until they have relocated the Palestinians they have not exterminated and built their so-called Riviera of the Middle East exactly as the plans they have already publicly shared have outlined. There is no reason to think they will settle for anything less.

Remember, also, that if Netanyahu ends his offense, he may be prosecuted for his corruption. Although Trump has already successfully intervened once, Bibi's bestest pal may not be able to continue to do so. I wouldn't expect Israel to back down any time soon. Similar to the Nuremberg trials, any international accountability will likely come far too late for Palestine.

This is just my know nothing, surface level analysis but I think it's pretty fair to say that these war criminals will do almost anything to avoid prosecution.

And for every day (before and since) that Bibi and Trump play with this war like it's a game of tennis, more Palestinians are murdered. They aren't fooling anyone.

Those 47 times are what been measured what is measurable. Gaza has never ceased to be under siege being starved to death starred of everything needed for any quality of life that's an immeasurable state of deprivation no cessation of it. There never has been for 80 years of living in a concentration camp where Israel "mows the lawn" as it pleases

That is why, when the "peace deal" was shouted to the world, I was in serious doubt it would hold! Trump is not afraid negotiator! He does NOT care about ANY human being let alone Palestinians! This was a sick photo op to get the coveted Nobel Peace Prize that he so DOES NOT DESERVE! He is a stain on not only America but the world!🙏🏻✌️

Agreed. Shameful how quickly Obama, Biden, Harris, Clinton -- all sent letters of congrats to Trump for the alleged ceasefire. Just beyond the pale.

I look at the photo at the beginning of your article, Qasim, at that little boy on the right, and imagine him being shot. Just a little boy. The world has let this happen. Definitely, not maybe, something should have been done to help these people. But nothing. Money, tribal affiliations, all more important. No wonder people say, "God help us" because sometimes it seems there's no one else (with power to do so) who cares enough.

We all know the ceasing of fire only applied to Palestinians. For Israel, it meant full steam ahead.

I believe Netanyahu is slipping in popularity. He dragged his feet about getting the hostages back, and so many of them died

TBH, Netanyahu never wanted the hostages released.

Netanyahu behaves like a Nazi, suppressing the Palestinians, pushing them into a confined area. It is absolutely disgraceful. He set the stage for this war.
