I received a glossy mailer today from the US Marine Corps. Addressed to my 16 year old son using an incorrect but very close version of his full legal name - he has two middle names and was addressed by his full first name, second middle name and last name. My 16 year old son. I have NEVER received such a mailing before. For the record, I would never allow my son to sell his body and become a cold blooded killer for the military industrial war machine. The timing, though. The timing. Fuck this whole timeline.
I don’t think Jared Golden is running for Congress so I hope a decent democrat gets his seat. Jeffries and Schumer definitely need to step down and let someone else take the lead. All that’s going on and not a peep from them. They’re totally useless.
No matter how much we despise how The Ayatollah Khomeini is running Iran and hurting its people, we cannot just bomb the hell of the country just because The Fapweasel (Trump) wants to. The laws must be obeyed, and things must be done properly.
When is the DNC going to wake up! The Democrats are hemorrhaging support because they refuse to "retire" the legacy leadership in the House and Senate; these leaders are too mealy-mouthed, timid, and lethargic. We need vibrant, courageous and clever ideas articulated with zeal. There are many Democratic voices that fill the bill, so let's change it up. And you will see a surge in support eager to get things done. I know because I am an older person and life-long Democrat who is so disappointed in the lack of real leadership in this critical time. They are losing my enthusiasm, so I assume others as well. Not the place to be now! Be brave and take the bold approach needed.
I think the best way to regain our country from those traitors is to remove them from their positions. There’s no check on them since they cannot be impeached only expelled by other Congress members. That power belongs to the people and having to wait until an election to remove them is not efficient. We need to demand a law that makes all Congress members subject to removal by the people. The executive and judicial branches are subject to impeachment and that hasn’t worked out for us either so it’s time that the power to decide who will continue to represent us be returned to the people and it has to be a solution that doesn’t rely on elections.
Methinks that perhaps Jeffries' deliberately didn't hold the caucus together. It's very convenient that the AIPAC-loving minority leader was able to get an outcome that benefits Israel without technically having to get his hands dirty. He has to go (and Schumer too). They are more pro-Israel than they are pro American democracy or what the American people -- aka, their constituents, want. More blood on their hands.

if any more ask is made for any military funds that are additional they should come from the following first:
1. First any fund this should come immediately out of the ICE and concentration camp funding. If that is fully exhausted then.
2. It could then come next from a decrease in the billionaire tax cut however much is needed to fund it dollar for dollar
No additional funds anywhere should go towards any of Trump’s military actions
