are they up for reelection. What can we do?

there funded by AIPAC money – they know that if they dared go against Israel, they’d lose it. they’re not real democrats or congressmen, they’re people complicit to the problem.

Congress has spent decades slowly handing war powers to presidents, and then acting shocked when presidents use them.

Virgin Monk Boy observes that if Congress truly wants its constitutional authority back, it might try the radical strategy of actually exercising it consistently instead of only when it’s politically convenient.

Like others have said, all candidates i consider as viable are those who have not received $$$ from AIPAC or other lobbyists. Peruse this easy guide to find out:

Shame on these four.

I don't live in Texas so I'm not usually familiar with Henry Cuellar, but I remember his name because whenever there's a critical vote with results split by party, but some Dems vote with the GOP, he's nearly always on that list. I'm in Oregon, and I'm usually proud of my Rep and my Senators (although I'm not the first to notice how much Wyden takes of AIPAC money; by the way, I object to ANY PAC tied to religious organizations) so if possible, call your Reps even if they DID vote to stop the war, and tell them why. They need to know that we are behind them when they do the right thing, not just angry when they do the wrong thing.

As for Jeffries, I fail to understand how he was voted the Minority Leader, as he has not been leading the whole time he's had the position. I think we can do two things in November in that regard: take back the House (and Senate) AND push our Reps to find someone else to be Speaker. I haven't spent time yet thinking about who I'd want, but AOC from NY or Crockett from TX would be fine by me. They both show more leadership than Jeffries ever has. But trying to get a woman of color in a position of leadership is difficult, as we've seen, due to racism and misogyny.

I'm also not a conspiracy theorist, but I'm wondering why we haven't seen more results on efforts to prove that there were irregularities in the 2024 election in all seven swing states, and in other states even though they went blue (like counties in NY). There's already concrete proof that something's not right. I just don't know who's looking into it, to either prove or disprove tampering. If it WAS tampered with, heads need to roll. If it wasn't tampered with, strategy needs to change (and probably does anyway).

How much did they get from AIPAC or other pro-Israel lobbies. These a-holes are complicit in the crimes against humanity this administration is perpetrating.

Thank you for providing the congressmen's names and numbers. I called all 4. Are they recipients of AIPAC's money? We have a 4 year old playing war games with our military. The consequences are real and people die, and a new traumatized generation hates America.

Some good info. My husband monitors the Military news. Seems Iran receives the junkyard Tanks from Russia now, because Ukraine is destroying their best tanks daily. 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦

Financially, it ain't going well. 😃

It's always the 💰.

You're always the one that ⚠️ us. I will call them etcetera.

The failure of this last attempt to rein trump in is a very hard pill to swallow. The nightmares continue. We must get louder.

Damn traitors, all four of them are traitors!

I just heard on the news that, in a poll, 82% of Republicans APPROVE of the attack on Iran. I want to cry. How can they? I just don't understand this.

Thanks Qasim. Signed the petition yesterday. Called today

Isn't Congress making themselves more disposable by giving away their power over wars to Trump? Stop this illegal war. I am seeing maps of the US on U-tube of the states most likely to be bombed in war.

Somewhere else I saw the list of the 4 evil Dems, and it included Josh Gottheimer and not Juan Vargas. Cuellar and Jared Golden were the same. I don't remember the last one - could have been the same guy, or different. It's not really important, but it's very strange.

But whoever the 4 were, we need real leadership. Schumer and Jeffries have got to go!

I have a shortcut to this handy thing & sometimes I remember to use it - https://clerk.house.gov/Votes/202685 (I sorted out Dems in the House who voted Nay)
