Thank you for the work you have put into this piece Qasim. You have done a vital job of stripping away the noise to show that this is a genuine failure of accountability at the highest level. The fact that nine individuals remain uncharged despite the internal records of the FBI is difficult to stomach. It does feel as though there is a deliberate attempt to let public attention drift while the most significant names stay hidden behind those redactions. Supporting the call for a full audit is the only way to ensure the truth is not lost.

The "tippimg point" as a bit of an overused phrase, but, face it, we are at one.

Tru,p is toast among our international allies. His domestic approval rating is now almost one in three. His political autjprity and power are simking with it. He doess not have, never has had, the ability to change coirse.

His death spiral has begun.

Excellent article! So well written.

Funny how “protecting victims” always seems to require protecting powerful men first.

Partial releases, illegal redactions, missing audit trails — that’s not caution. That’s choreography.

Transparency that stops right before accountability isn’t transparency. It’s a delay tactic with better branding.

By all means lets hold them all to accountability. That means accountability of the DOJ. When our national legislatures fail to call for accountability, not only this issue, but other violations of the Constitution, they too should be prosecuted. They swore an oath to uphold the Constitution, the law if the land, or isn't it? Their inaction makes all of them complicit on these issues. Other than their “duty,” they violate a core value of human dignity and decency. What happened to the party of virtues? LOCK THEM UP! Our children are not safe.

You can’t count on the media. They’ve all bowed to the pervert. ALL CORPORATE-OWNED MEDIA, AND THE ASSHOLES RUNNING THEM, ARE CORRUPT, CANNOT BE TRUSTED, AND LACK ANY INTEGRITY.

You also can’t count on the republicans. They’re all complicit trumpwhores who are afraid to do anything against his wishes for fear of him ranting against them and getting his CORRUPT corporate oligarchy buddies to direct their bribes and campaign money elsewhere. And I’m sure most of them are named in the epstein materials that have not been made public.

Was Merrick Garland's FBI aware of all the information in the Epstein files? If so, a Dem administration is equally at fault for not prosecuting anyone. I don't want to sound like both-sidesism, and anybody here who's read my substack comments knows that I loathe Trump, but a lot of this information was gathered during Trump's first term as part of prosecuting Epstein, wasn't it? If that's so, the FBI could have gone further than just Epstein during Merrick Garland's tenure as AG. And yes, Garland was a weak AG and should have prosecuted Trump for the things that got him impeached. But it sounds as if a lot of things should have been during his tenure, and weren't.

I understand the files were sealed until 2024. They could've looked into it during that year though. I'm not sure what they might've come up with, but apparently they didn't even try. Garland was useless, or more likely complicit in letting Trump get away with treason & murder, & Biden stayed completely out of it despite the enormous ramifications.

Garland was at fault for not prosecuting Trump. These files were under judicial seal under Biden. Biden chose to abide by it. Trump has no such restriction and is hiding them anyway.

A network of world leaders and billionaires, rotten through and through. And what did almost all of them have in common? Support of Israel.

They were complicit with Putin & Russian oligarchs to. Epstein was used by our own CIA, the Russian FSB, & Israeli military intelligence to pressure people in high places to do what they wanted, using the dirt they had on those men as blackmail.

Haven’t we gone through this once before with Nixon? Obstruction of justice, cover-up, and an intentional dragging of feet in producing the required files. Next thing we know he’ll be standing at the podium and quoting, “ I am not a crook”, both arms raised in the victory symbol. Yeah, right.

I agree while hearted on your point that we must receive the information we deserve to analyze what took place all these years and who joined with Epstein and many others to operate a child pornography and sexual conduct with minors. We must push for the truth, for the truth sets you free!!!

All so true. Democratics aren’t protecting the victims either. Nobody without existing power, money, fame gets represented.

The seemingly eternal problem is MONEY and POSITION OF POWER. I can personally tell you that law enforcement, professional organizations (the American Medical Association, for example), and even some attorneys will and DO tell a woman (girl) " this person has a prominent position in the community AND a whole lot more money than you do. I'd just FORGET ABOUT IT if I were you." This kind of bullshit makes me furious. Those professionals are almost as guilty as the rapist.

I’m glad to know of this group. However, i know nothing about anyone except Bill Kristol, who helped shape the GOP up until Trump took over. Recent, I’ve heard amazingly woke commentaries from George Will, who also was quite conservative. They seem to be taking their position from the actual Constitution. But before that, when Mitchell was trashing long standing norms to block Obama’s Supreme Court nomination, undermining fair play, I don’t recall their moral objections. That’s just one example.

Any Congressmen who know the names of the known co-conspirators should simply release them. Enough games. Time for a reckoning, sparing none of the pedophiles the Republicans are protecting.

Celeste Myslewski's avatar

Right. I don't get it! Why the game? Stand up in Congress and start reading off names. If they stop you--park yourself on the Capitol steps and start reading off names! Cut the crap.
