I just wrapped our 1,000 Miles to Memphis March at the National Civil Rights Museum, on the same ground where Dr. King took his last breath. Last Saturday also marked 71 years since 14-year-old Emmett Till was kidnapped, tortured, lynched, and murdered in Mississippi over a lie. The woman who told that lie lived free for the rest of her life. Her arrest warrant was never executed. She only died three years ago.
