Thank you Rashid for sponsoring AIPAC-rejecting honest candidates, who know Medicare-for-All is affordable, and that Zionists who include folks like Pres Biden and Pres Trump who arm Israeli genocide are tragically and shamefully Without human rights credibility, and that the foreign Israeli government laundering Israeli money thru AIPAC to pay for AIPAC 'minders' in US Senators' and US Congresspersons' offices in DC, and to buy US political candidates who promise to vote in Congress to spend US taxpayers' money every year for $20 billion bombs and military weapons and intel and US military officers stationed in Israel helping guide US bombs to kill unarmed Palestinians. No real sincere New Testament Christian could ever condone US government policy towards illegal Israeli genocide. By the way, Semitic is just a 'mother' language like Latin is a 'mother' language, so the intentional contrivance of anti-semitic having to do with anything other than language is a propoganda against the public, since half a billion people speak the Semitic language of Arabic; note that many Semitic-speaking people are Arab Christians.
Qadim, If you could at your convenience (but well before the primaries) provide a full list of candidates for Congress that you support (& also point out those you reject), I would very much appreciate it. I trust your judgment. I think there are many primary races like these where there is a sharp contrast between candidates.
Sorry, I just noticed I misspelled your name, Qasim. A typo, I know your name well. My right index finger has a bad cut that has been hampering me. Still not a good excuse. I usually proofread what I type before sending it.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I love both of your guests. I am going to support both of them monthly. I am a 71 year old woman and these new young people ( including yourself) are soooo amazing. We need you all. Thank you
Before I even listen I must add to your list. Richard Neal (aka Richie because grown men must always use childhood names) is consistently listed #1 or #2 in House members who take corporate PAC $. When the district was reconfigured a few years ago, he got the hilltowns of Western Massachusetts - small towns, no big business therefore no big $. Eventually, they got together and posted newspaper ads "Missing: Our Representative"... Now we have Jeromie Whalen, a former schoolteacher in Northampton High School, on leave, driving his yellow van across the district on a daily basis, running for that seat. Jeromie doesn't take PAC money - it's all individual donors. If you are thinking of adding more to your list, you might want to consider him. His resume is impressive. His platform is solid. He already has my vote.
The WFP is relatively strong in certain (mostly eastern) states like New York, but rather weak in other parts of the country. It would be so much better for getting a strong, viable 3rd party candidate if the various progressive minor parties collaborated among each other, & coalesced around a mutually acceptable candidate. The Working Families Party, Greens, Socialists, Progressives & Peace & Freedom Party all have similar platforms, & essentially support the same policies. They should get together, have a convention, vote using ranked choice voting to choose mutually acceptable candidates for offices, & run with that, hopefully recruiting some progressive independents & at some point progressive Democrats along the way. In any case, there should be cooperation & coordination between progressives in & outside the Democratic Party to make sure viable progressives become nominees for the general election. Their strategy up to now, to the extent there is one, has not been working. For example, after Bernie was denied the Democratic nomination in 2016, had he accepted the invitation by the Green Party to head their ticket, I think he would've prevailed & been our next President, which would've radically changed our national course for the better. Most effective would've been a strategy to work with Hillary to direct most criticism towards Trump rather than each other, & for the one behind in mid-October to withdraw from the race & endorse the other (something that Nader should've done for Gore in 2000). Another example seemed to be taking place through most of tne 2020 Democratic primaries, where both Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren were championing virtually the same issues & avoiding criticizing each other even though they were going after pretty much the same voters. But then towards the end of the debates & beginning of the primaries, they got into a public rift that harmed both of their candidacies. Had they continued their mutually supportive campaigns, avoided any divisions & settled on whichever of them was in the lead (I think it was Bernie at that point), endorsing that person by the time centrists dropped out to make way for Biden, we could've had a different outcome. These kinds of collaborative strategies are guidelines on how to get good, strong, viable progressives into power.
Best strategy at this point is for progressives both inside & outside the Democratic Party working cooperatively with each other to find the best, most viable candidate & put great effort into ensuring victory for that candidate, regardless if it is a Democrat or Independent/3rd party candidate. Putting all their eggs in the Democratic Party hasn't been working, yet neither have minor party & independent progressives done the kind of organization, preparation, collaboration & recruitment necessary to put forward viable progressive candidates of their own.
I can’t even look at Hakeem Jeffries or Chuck Schumer anymore. And Kamala is just another Biden/Netanyahu lover. Tired of all of those lazy shills.

Right on, Qasim! No AIPAC tools! ☮️

Thank you, Pam!
I call myself a Progressive Socialist Democrat now and I’m proud of it. The old democrats have to go along with all their corruption.
Thank you !
Exciting candidates. It’s inspiring to see younger, progressive candidates stepping up. Hope for the future.

Candidates should tell voters where they are getting their campaign funds from. The candidates who don’t take PAC funds usually say that publically.
If we do not get rid of corporate Dems we absolutely must go 3rd party.
Working Families Party is building up nicely.

Team D couldn't even endorse Mamdani.
Exactly. Indefensible.
So why anyone thinks we should demonstrate our loyalty to Team D baffles me.
There is no reforming it, any more than the SS can be reformed from the inside or whatever it is that normies tell themselves.

Your faith is touching.
