I stopped using Facebook 4 or 5 years years ago. I tried deleting my account but it ran so many circle around me that I gave up and decided to just let it expire. If it ever does! I still receive emails from them that I ignore and delete immediately. The mass media weren't very good at reporting the news even before the little dicktator came on the scene but now they are totally complicit. They all want access to the White House and for what? To repeat their lies and drivel?
Absolutely disgusting, this is why lots of people(myself included) don't watch the News on TV anymore. And I'm also glad I never had any accounts on sites owned by Meta...I do feel bad for the innocent users who use them though.

I don’t watch television at all, I deleted the Apple News app, I only watch substack for information from around the world and here in the US, and I only subscribe to you and the Guardian which I’m having second thoughts about. Not you, the Guardian. I’m curious if the regime is going to infiltrate and begin censoring substack. Scary thought.
Thank you, Qasim, for so much that you do. I get all my news from independent sources. I still listen to msm once each day as a learning tool. For example, recently I heard numerous times on msm that Trump's approval rating is "below 40%". It's 34% I believe. But they want to get that FORTY in there (cause it's bigger than 34!! ). This is the kind of thing they do-- not necessarily dishonest, but MISLEADING. It makes me furious because people get their information from media and then they form opinions and vote on that info! This is exactly how dictators slowly take control of everything. At that point, we all know that only revolution can oust them. We're officially a Third World country.

For the most part, I would take a wild guess that most of your subscribers watch Newsmax even less that they do FOX News. We do have a large section of uneducated citizens and those poor darlings are the ones that believe what they are told, facts are not required. That's how we got Mr. Trump who while monetizing the presidency also continually embarrasses himself, like today claiming that the 7 states with hacked water systems were victims of MN Gov Walz.

I deleted my Facebook account a couple of years ago and refuse to have anything to do with them. Zuckerberg should be ashamed of himself.

You're correct but I'm sure many of them are on Meta. So hopefully this helps them too.
