Well said. Such closed mindedness would not have been appreciated by most of our founding fathers.

Those who refuse to learn from history will fall into the pit of their own vacuous ignorance: settlers of Islamic faith and of Jewish faith fought along side settlers of Christian faith in America’s Revolutionary War for independence.

Take 30min at your lunch break to do a bit of research to confirm the history of that.

Thank you for sharing this. You are spot on. We all need a history class refresher from professors and people like you who speak the truth about American history.

This was brilliant! I have to admit I chuckled a little when you pointed out how she succeeded in exercising islamic sharia even in the midst of the horrendousness of her video and her actions.

Burning a sacred text is somehow fine for them but these same people are clutching their pearls about a flag being burnt by a veteran, which is an established act of protest protected by the First Amendment. A flag is only a symbol, burning a religious text should count as inciting violence (since it’s very obviously her stance with that action.)

Of the three most dominant religions, the most hateful and bigoted people I have met in my life were claiming to be Christians. They were not following the Christ I learned about. I do not consider them to be true Christians.

The 2nd most hateful and bigoted people I have met in my life were claiming to be followers of Judaism. They were not following the Judaism that any of my Jewish friends and family follow. They were devout Zionists, supportive of the most extreme right wing elements in Israel, and its genocide in Gaza. I do not consider them to be followers of true Judaism.

Of the top 3 religions, the least hateful and bigoted people I have met in my life were those claiming to be Islamic. Again, they do not follow the Islam the other Muslim friends I have met. I must add that I grew up listening to Yasser Arafat spouting hate towards Jewish people, and, of course, watched atrocities perpetrated by extreme elements of Hamas. I do not consider them true Islamists.

Of the numerous other religions I have not observed the bigotry and hatefulness that I have with the “top 3” mentioned above. Certainly there is some in people of all religious, and non-religious persuasions, but not to any profound degree, especially compared to Christianity and Judaism.

Of course, this is my own judgement based on my own experience with people I have met, and studies I have made. But I am not through. There is so much more I, and we all, have to learn. What is distinctive, however, is recognition that the “top 3” religions I mention above are based on love and respect for all humanity. Any sects or beliefs that run contrary to this are false representations.

I thank, once again, the valuable information Qasim Rashid has provided, and continues to provide.

That MAGA politician is only showing her ignorance and fear and racism. Trying to win that political votes by tapping into the hate of others. Like others here pointed out, she has no clue about that holy book and should shut up. That kind of blind prejudice has no part in a good government. Which I hope for again. I, for instance, am for Mr. Mamdani because I like his ideas and his caring. So tired of this kind of stupidity. There are a lot of ignorant fools in MAGA.

You are a Truth Speaker displacing the darkness of ignorance. I am shocked every day at how unevolved humanity still is. Thank you for your voice and for your knowledge and perspective. Learning and growth can never stop. ignorance is our enemy. What a bunch of vile vile humans that are running this country and drawing out the worst and showcasing it for the world to see. Speaking truth IS the divine intervention. TY
