Will The Epstein Files Finally Doom the MAGA Cult?
I can't for sure say Trump is guilty, but his actions are exactly what someone guilty of what's in the Epstein files would do
Donald Trump promised to drain the swamp. Instead, he’s drowning it in impunity.
He ran on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. He said he’d bring justice. Now he pretends they don’t exist—and fires the very prosecutors bringing predators to justice. We knew he was lying the entire time, and so little of this is surprising. What is shocking, however, is that polls have Trump’s approval on the Epstein case at an abysmal 3 percent. Let’s Address This.
Trump’s Acts of Guilt
Let’s recap. Immediately after taking office Donald Trump tried to fire the Inspectors General who keep government accountable. Shortly thereafter, Trump successfully fired the FBI agents who prosecuted the January 6 insurrectionists, which included Nazis, and then pardoned the Nazis. And now, Donald Trump has fired Maurene Comey, the attorney who prosecuted Sean Combs, Ghislaine Maxwell, and one Jeffery Epstein.
It should surprise no one that Epstein described himself as “Donald Trump’s closest friend.” Trump in return said about Epstein, “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”
Here’s the truth. A man who aligns himself with child rapists like Jeffery Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, fires Inspector Generals, pardons Nazis, and fires the people prosecuting sex criminals, is a man who is telling you clearly that he is a Nazi and sex abuser who wants to avoid accountability. And while he still enjoys plenty of support in the GOP, even Speaker Mike Johnson is now claiming he wants the Epstein files released.
Sadly, Johnson’s vote doesn’t match his words, and when given the chance to release these files, he balked and ordered Republicans to vote unanimously to censor them. Meanwhile, Politico reports on numerous polls showing just how outraged Americans are at Trump’s handling of the Epstein matter:
Only 17 percent of all respondents to the Quinnipiac poll said they approved of the administration’s handling of the Epstein files, compared to 63 percent who said they disapproved and 20 percent not offering an opinion. The Reuters/Ipsos poll reflected similar numbers, with 17 percent of respondents saying they approved of Trump’s handling of the situation. And only 3 percent of adults in a Tuesday CNN/SSRS poll said that they were satisfied with the amount of information the government has released thus far on the case.
Three percent approval! This is the thread Trump is hanging by. So desperate is Trump that for the first time, he disclosed a medical condition, perhaps in an attempt to gain sympathy and distract from the near certainty that he is in the Epstein files.
MAGAs Fall In Line
Unfortunately, even among that 3% support, MAGAs are exhibiting grotesque loyalty to Trump. This week they voted near unanimously to block release of the Epstein files, after Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna and Republican Congressman Thomas Massie forced a vote on the issue.
Meanwhile, Pam Bondi—the same Florida Attorney General who years ago helped bury the Epstein case—is once again running interference for Trump. Somehow she went from “it’s on my desk” to “it doesn’t exist.”
MAGA Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina often discusses the horrific sexual assault she suffered. Yet, after supporting a man credibly accused of rape by dozens of women, she now calls for capital punishment for child rapists—and somehow simultaneously uses her power in Congress to protect them.
This isn’t about policy. It’s about cruelty. Cruelty as governance. Hypocrisy as strategy. Because after all, if the Epstein files really don’t exist, then MAGA Republicans are claiming that Ghislaine Maxwell is serving 20 years behind prison on false convictions of child trafficking. So why aren’t they calling for her release? It’s quite simple—because they know she is guilty, and the fear Trump is as well.
MAGA Republicans are proclaiming to the world that they have no moral compass. No values. No vision. Just a hunger for unchecked power. They will say anything, do anything, burn anyone—so long as it feeds the beast of authoritarianism they’ve come to worship. And before closing, I must mention the abject failure of corporate media.
Where is corporate media on all this? Silent. Not one universal editorial call for the release of the Epstein files. Not one major network demanding Trump resign for this grotesque lie. Not one consistent headline stating the obvious: a man protecting Nazis and child sex abusers is a Nazi sympathizer and an enabler of abuse.
This isn’t just cowardice—it’s complicity.
Conclusion
This moment demands clarity—and courage. Donald Trump didn’t stumble into protecting Nazis and sex criminals. He’s making deliberate choices that reflect who he is and what he values: power without accountability, loyalty without truth, and cruelty without consequence.
We cannot normalize this. We cannot become numb to it. We must keep asking questions, keep raising our voices, and keep the pressure on—not just on Trump, but on the institutions and media outlets that continue to shield him. Whether the Epstein files finally doom the MAGA cult, or not, will in part depend on our willingness to relentlessly demand accountability and justice.
If we fail to act, we don’t just fail survivors—we risk failing the next generation who will live in the world we allowed to rot. I’m committed to continuing this work—calling out injustice, exposing corruption, and telling the truth when others won’t. But I can’t do it without your support. So I’m asking: Keep the pressure on. Demand the release of the Epstein files. Call out the enablers. And if you believe in this work, please support it. Share this post. Subscribe. Tell your friends. Help amplify the truth.

I worked in sexual assault/child sexual abuse recovery at the beginning of my career. I have seen children in the ER who’ve just been raped by adults. I’ve seen women there the police refused to believe them. I’ve seen women badly beaten, covered in bruises and with multiple broken bones. My youngest clients were *three years old*. I have seen all that, yet this- this makes me sick. Literally nauseated. Qasim, I agree with Shoshana: keep at it. It’s risky, yes. But if you do not pursue justice, who will? Congress? Hardly. We citizens must rise up and demand an end to this farce- what a weak word for it. It must end. There must be justice and there must be honest governing.
Keep at it. Chase the money and the girls through Mar a lago. The girls were employed at Mar a Lago b4 being sent to Epstein. Those girls brought their friends from school. Ask Mark Epstein - the brother. He said it years ago. Follow the girls - from Mar a Lago to Epstein.
