It continues to amaze me how prejudiced, ignorant and vicious so many people are! They act as though nobody ever taught them to be considered, thoughtful and interested in the perspectives and concerns of anyone not exactly like them. So many today have no manners and no sense of the appropriate. They seem to have been raised by hyenas instead of humans!

Years ago I learned an astounding fact: The poorest province in Canada consistently gives to charity on a per capita basis, more than any other of the richer provinces. Newfoundland and Labrador have endured generations of exploitation and poverty - they understand the urgent value of mutual aid. So must we all!
Can't be making any fiscal contribution brother. I aint got any money, save a little cash in my pocket with urgent needs to be spent on. But I like and share. It's all I can do. Appreciate you. Be safe.
I've been there all my life. But I'm privileged to be in the position of having no dependents and few responsibilities. I live off grid and, although I've been in the same place for a year now, I tend to move about. A bit of a gypsy heart I suppose. I don't have cause for complaint though. My life is what my choices have made it and I'm nobodies victim. Poor is a relative term and I see very clearly how wealthy my life is compared to many. I may not have any money behind me, but I have a treasure trove of good friendships, incredible memories and experiences and for the most part I still have enough of my health to get about and go where I want to be and make myself useful when I get there. Life is good, even when it ain't. 😉
People, most people, have become poorer, and more anxious about money. A buddy was talking about how Social Security is due to run out soon. I'm sorry this is happening here. Take care of yourself, and I'll be working the next couple of months to elect people supporting Medicare for All, as those people are also for closing out the wars and taxing the wealthy.
