It makes me so much better knowing Senators are already saying no, they won't support him. I've already contacted my Senators, and also my Rep about Jeffries. If they are smart, Schumer's name doesn't even make the initial cut. Set the tone. For an established Democrat, Raskin is already baring some fangs--that is what we need the old vanguard to do. And Warren, to me, has been the most vocal and pushing back the hardest, of that generation. Van Hollen has been outstanding, too. I think that our country's future will be determined by what happens in the next 180 days. Phase 1 is complete--Phase 2 now begins. Let's do this.

Schumer is a zionist war criminal. There is no greater crime than genocide. He has made it his zionist mission to put Israel’s interests and the ethnic extermination of Palestinians ahead of working Americans. Schumer should be imprisoned in the Hague for his racist agenda.

Never again means never again for anyone, Chuckie.

No Schumer, No Jeffries, No Zionists cunts.

Absolutely! It’s time for bold, brave, boisterous leadership. Shumer and Jeffries are none of those things. “We” didn’t expend all our energy in this election for the “same-old, same-old” to move the needle hardly at all and make cowardly compromises. The system is broken and needs revitalization, renovation; not band-aids. The Dems better show us they heard us or if you think the past two years were bad, just wait. We want real energy along with intelligence, integrity and creativity to tackle big, complex issues. And fix the parts that are broken; start by closing all the loopholes that opened the door to Trump/MAGA. That would be a start.

Thank you, sir. This is so clear and so good and I will be riding my Democrat senators repeatedly. I also really like the three suggestions you offered for seven majority leader. That should get people thinking! You’re a rockstar and I really appreciate you.

He is definitely not a war time consigliere...abd has a long history all the way vsck to at least Obama..of being very supportive of Netanyahu.. even when much of the country was not . There was an issue at that time concerning Israel..I don't remember the details. The R party during Obama’s term, broke protocol and invited Netanyahu to come and speak to Congress. President Obama was left completely out of the loop, abd he did not attend. A huge disrespectful diss. Guess who did attend that meeting? Democratic Senator.Chuck Schumer.

Thank you, Qasim, for calling out Schumer's racism, in addition to all else. You're so right: we could have had four new black Senators if Schumer had met the moment and embraced the resolution, activism and organization of black communities and their non-black allies throughout the South. Schumer's racism goes beyond not supporting Black American candidates, of course: he backed Angie Craig in Minnesota's Democratic Primary over Native American Peggy Flanagan, and, most glaringly, Haley Stevens over Abdul El-Sayed. His big tent philosophy evidently translates as big tent racism: he manages to be anti-Native American, anti-Black, and anti-Arab. This is the message I intend to tell my two Senators in Washington State: don't expect my support if you support a racist.

If schumer thinks that djt might change, hope he was paying attention when he elevated rabid racist miller to chief of staff. This leopard is NEVER going to change his spots. The new Senate members have the right idea. Let's really clean house with new, productive leadership!

Schumer supports Israel. That is his most

Important role. He’s incompetent and old. He’s a year older than me and I think it’s too old.

I understand your views in this time of needed change and I love your candidates. I am thrilled also with 100 women in congress. Wow! I do not believe that Schumer is to blame for how adverse elections come out even if he could have recruited better. I like Angie Dixon too but vinnmen was a good potential also. I don’t think Schumer is racist and supporting non- blacks is not evidence that he is. His brand of practicality is likely outdated but he has used good judgment too. I’m so happy with his performance in trying to take Trump down in the past that I’m grateful for his past leadership even if it is time to go. I believe he has integrity and I believe it is in much higher supply now with all the new people in congress! He had a hard job. Democrats tend to eat our own. We need a new approach- like the right way you fire people- with an explanation of no longer fitting, a true commitment and a gentle or hard boot, whichever gets them out the door. How about taunting what he has done right too and then declare it’s time for a change because others will bring fresh perspective and energy with less baggage? I hope we are ready to kick some ass but it needs to be the asses of the corrupt, not the old guard we use to trust. Let’s be kinder to hard working politicians with integrity and let’s present ourselves more unified.

No one should speak one word about lack of experience, when a seditionist, felon, rapist, pedophile, psychopath WITHOUT government experience was put in! Trump’s son-in-law, a non-elected official was playing footsies with dictators.

Regarding Schumer & Jeffries, HELL NO! Jeffries asked something to the effect of, Do we want revenge or do we want to get things done?

Ahem, we want arrests before one ounce of any other work begins. It is not revenge, it is following the LAW!

We can do both at the same time.

The conceit of Schumer (and Jefferies) is just beyond. “Well, of course I get my position back, just like before!”

It's not back to the way it was. It's forward to better.

Stephanie Forbes's avatar

Schumer is stuck in a past that no longer functions with the skills and agility that today's political maneuvers require. It's time to move on.

Gotta block Jeffries, too! He and Schumer would both sabotage our gains

No Schumer and no Jeffries. We need non-AIPAC Dems.

Absolutely! That's how MAGA got started in the first place!🤬

Dangit, I should be calling Angie's office right now! Is it worthwhile to call Senators in other states?
