Sematic is just a language, and half 1 billion people speak the somatic language of Arabic, they are not antisemitic.

Many Arabs are Christian including about 20% of Palestinians. The Palestine Israel conflict is not about religion and it's not about being somatic, because Both peoples are Semitic-language speakers.

The Israel-Palestine conflict is about the Zionist political movement of elitism for land-grabing and Gaza offshore natural gas-grabbing using illegal Israeli squatters supported by the Israeli military Both armed with US weapons paid for Fully by US taxpayers, because 80% of US Senators and Reps take campaign money from AIPAC, to spend US taxpayers money to the US mil-indus-Tech industry that wants foreign wars to make a LOT of corporate Money ... AIPAC launders Israeli gov money that Israel doesn't have to spend for weapons that the US Congress gives them as 'aide' in exchange for AIPAC campaign donations

Thank you for speaking out Qasim even though it is costing you subscribers. The situation is so dire in Palestine that we have to pressure the American Congress and Europe to stop supporting Israel. Netanyahu’s propaganda has to be called out.

Theres so much I don’t understand. I don’t know how the Palestinians got caught in the middle of Israel and Hamas. But I do know that innocent people and children being slaughtered and then being starved to death is heartbreaking. Just like their starving children in Africa. And I like the man running for New York , Mamdani. I hope to god he wins

I probably won't be "speaking out" as my voice is very unreliable these days, but I've lost count of the number of petitions signed, the number of scathing letters written to the dolts in government, the number of donations made to politicians and other more worthy causes. I guess I'll just keep going on doing it until this mortal coil curls up and dies.

I've had to cut out so much of my budget to just survive because of the policies of the oligarchs who run the US...but I just signed up to be a paid supporter of yours because you have the courage to fight for the oppressed no matter where they are on the planet. Thank you for fighting for the Palestinians and speaking against the genocide paid for by our taxes.

I am an 83-year-old woman who has been a substitute teacher for many years. The videos and pictures of the dying, suffering children brings me to tears every time I see them. As soon as I saw your column about losing 300 followers, I became a paid subscriber. I have been feeling so helpless to do anything to prevent more people (especially the children) from suffering and dying, but hopefully subscribing will help in a small way. I gave money to the World Kitchen hoping that they will be able to help as well. I was so angry when Biden (who I voted for and supported) continued to send weapons to Israel, and of course I am furious with trump for that as well as many other things. I am a staunch Democrat, and have had so much sympathy for Israel for a long time, but the undeserved support of Israel since Oct.7 is incomprehensible to me. Any Democrat who ignores the plight of these suffering Gazans has lost my support!

Israel has never cared about the hostages. They are rather using them as threats against Palestinians. With very little to no food in Gaza these hostages have also been starving. When airplanes bomb groups of Palestinians they’ve also bombed the hostages.

The Israeli government does not care.
