Yes, Ground News is wonderful! Now that I follow it daily, I feel I've got a better handle not just on the real news, but also on its context and how/why people are believing what they believe.
(Of course, I'm choosing to believe what Ground News reports, without fact-checking them... )

I recognize there are threats to many underrepresented communities, including my own. I'm privileged to have a law degree, citizenship, and family support. I'm focused on doing what I can with the resources and time I have to do the most good while I still can. That's where my mind is.
