I tried to reach Neal Dunn (R-FL) using the number in the video, and each time I was disconnected. So, I called his office number directly and told the person that answered why I was calling and gave him my name and zipcode. If anyone else runs into this issue, look up the number for your representative and call their office directly.
You're doing good with your common sense approach but I fear the politicians, on either side aren't listening to those calls. Taking to the the streets at this late stage in the dissolving of American norms is the only choice left. The organisers have done a great job so far. I say let them do more. The force of people power cannot be underestimated. Regime change is what's needed, not just getting mad at a party.

It is vital that we not just sit back and watch things unfolding, that we not feel hopeless and so the least that we can do is to pick up the phone And express to these representatives how we feel and what we’d like to see happen. With you, Qasim. C'est la guerre! It isn't over until it's over. Rather than flailing about how terrible this bill and the overall situation is, you're fighting, and organizing others to fight. That's the kind of grassroots' leadership it is going to take to save the US from the grifters, carpetbaggers, gangster capitalists, foreign agents and technofascists trying to capture it. What if my Reps are Democrats. Can I call the Republican Reps anyway just not leave my zip code or will they just void the message when they don't hear it?!
Great Post! Hope many followed your example!! Please be sure you are taking care of yourself in these highly stressful times; all the more stressful for you as a naturalized citizen I would imagine. I'm 76 and having to contemplate how far I will go to stand up to the bully criminal who is our president- for my children's and grandchildren's generations. It is terrifying. I called both the local office and the capitol office for Rep. Pete Stauber yesterday, but he is MAGA all the way. He won't face us at a town hall and only sends email replies to letters asking us to sign up for his ridiculous newsletter or to follow him on social media-gross! He also has pre-screened telephone town halls. I listened once a year or so ago and it was all propagandized talking points that he chose to address. I really do not have a valid Representative in him. I called anyway!

This is such important and practical civic instruction. They are called Representatives because they represent US, the people.
