When we said we liked throwbacks, we didn't mean structural eugenics and Jim Crow.

Was the forced sterilization of Native American women during the 1960s and 1970s ever addressed in a productive (no pun) way? And was it only during those years? Is it still going on?

Apparently the Trumpers found a new way to kill people...

You speak truth. EVERYONE must beware.

Safety of all is our personal safety. Eugenics is genetics inverted: our health lies in our diversity. And it is a mask over the desire to reduce almost all of us to slaves for those who win the greed award. As if destructive selfishness were a benefit to anyone at all. A death wish for humanity, for this nation, and for the billionaires themselves.

You make an interesting point, Ann! "health lies in our diversity". A character I'm a Jonathan Kellerman novel I once read said " doesn't it seem like people are getting better looking". I thought about that. The answer, I believe, is DIVERSITY!! People used to marry within tight ethnic communities. So less desirable features (huge ears, big chins) were inbred. Now, with people choosing more diverse partners, I believe we're getting a nice blend of features.

Terrifying stuff. Is anyone watching The Testaments? Not that far off.

This is terrifying.

And corporate media is largely ignoring it, or not putting the pieces together.

Very scary. But I can see the Trump administration doing this. I think the Republicans see it too and that’s why they’re so complacent. They’re trying to save themselves, but in the end, they and their families and friends will be targeted as well.

This is an implementation of Project 2025’s agenda to eliminate anyone who is not a white Christian. They only want 1/3 of the population to survive.

I have read several books about eugenics. I had a feeling they would bring it back. How are they tracking autism? I have an 18 year old grandson with autism who is trying to find a job.

I will say that in observation in all of the reading I’ve done, the plan is to eradicate billions of people worldwide, not just here. This isn’t a conspiracy theory, it’s about a surveillance system being put in place, and in order to control us, the population needs to be cut by billions. If you think this is unthinkable, look at the events that are happening and have happened. They too were unthinkable. I’m not sure if the plan will succeed or not. But, for sure they are going to exterminate us. This is a very strong opinion of mine, I’m just an observer.

I think you are pretty much spot-on. That's why it doesn't bother them at all to wipe out the entire Palestinian or Iranian race. While you and I may see ALL people as precious, their only concern is for the Master Race. Sick.

Ironic isn’t it! The ruling by SCOTUS on Buck vs Bell remains, but Roe vs Wade was overturned. It seems to me that they’re forgetting their ruling in overturning Roe vs Wade will further allow Black and brown children to be born right along with the so-called “chosen race”. But the remedy for that is to convince the parents to not vaccinate against childhood diseases, make it difficult to afford healthcare and float disinformation as facts. And now in the state where I live they made this announcement. “SC House passes bill allowing ivermectin to be sold over the counter”. 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes, truly mortifying contrast between those two cases.

Failed human beings desparate to feel dominate and powerful. if they only knew how pathetic they appear...

If only all people read your work and gave this SERIOUS thought, Qasim. We are waging war against countries that have not raised a hand to us. And who are the soldiers sent to die--mostly men and women from low socio-economic backgrounds. Can someone tell them they are Canon fodder? They deserve NOTHING here before their service and they will get nothing afterward. Should they survive. Even Generals are being treated like crap. How anyone with any brains can defend this self-serving administration is beyond me. But, we see, racists and other-haters will stand together at all costs, so soul-consuming is their hatred.

The Fapweasel (Trump) does not treat others the way he wants to be treated. He is only nice when he wants something.
