Thanks to you and your guest. I do agree with what he says but can't find a way that he'll get racist America to go along with it. Racism is in their DNA at this point in their history. Even democrats can be racist you know? It's going to take more that inspired policies to drive that out of them. I'm not saying don't keep trying but your going to get a mighty awful headache batting your head against their "border" wall.

Agree we need a meaningful truth and reconciliation commission and reparations to begin the process of healing.

As a Wheaton alum who is tired of being represented by the likes of Russ Vought and Eric Teetsel, it was a joy to listen to Dr. Hill on this episode. Hope the Dem party learn a thing or two from his wisdom.

In my "evangelical-pre-atheist" days I lived near Wheaton College, so I am happy to hear there's a progressive voice there now. Common Cause is circulating a petition to tell the DT regime to NOT deport Mamdani: https://act.commoncause.org/petitions/tell-trump-and-bondi-drop-the-attacks-on-mamdani/?source=email-share

That's really good news. I'm still a little wary because trump isn't really in touch with his base, he can't be because he was born rich and spoiled. He is just supplying the bullets and giving it to MAGA to pull the trigger. Also he's not really "authentic" he just lies well. This is his charisma? How can he be a millionaire and still lie skilfully to his base of workers? He's obviously not as stupid as people think, he's simply bending down to his base to get them onside. He knows they are super religious and super racist. He uses this so well.

Religious, not so much, VEE. Religiously racist, definitely.

“Religiously Racist” who knew that opposites could be twinned! You’re correct of course. What a terrible world they must inhabit to think that a god, anyones god, could be this way! This is why church and state must never be in the same room together! Nothing good can come of it. That is why those countries that are lead by people who are “religious” first have the most repressive laws for their people. Religion is still the most controlling entity on the planet earth unfortunately.

I feel much safer under the leadership of someone with strong spiritual convictions than one who promotes "The Way to Heaven."
