This was incredibly informative. I’m motivated to do some research into my local police department policies and funding deals, how they interact with our local bail system and whether or not they have implemented any of the no in person contact as well. All my local congress members ran on platforms of tough on crime and there are soooo many stories on nightly news about shoplifting and murder.
