I agree that both democrats and republicans are defending todays healthcare system. But democrats have also introduced bills for better coverage and standarized prices. Bernie Sanders might be the only one that have run on it in his presidental bid. Still he loses primaries, probably because people don't believe it's possible. Or that it would actually save both the federal state and the average American money.
PS: It is going to get a lot harder with wrecking ball Trump atthe helm. He does not just reject support of the global order; he is intent on destroying it.
