Signed and I’ve signed literally dozens of petitions prior to this. I have called my Representative and Senators and sent many emails. I’m in Western North Carolina so you know we got a no vote from Tillis. I have ZERO hope for Chuck Edwards. He’s in lock step with the extreme right. I want to believe we can stop it and I’ll keep trying but I’m not optimistic. Thank you for allowing commenting as I just can’t afford a paid subscription as a senior on a fixed income and given the current situation and what I fear is coming. Our best hospital, open only three years now, is on the at risk to close list and we are very worried. We’re also likely to lose our only Urgent Care Center where my primary physician works and I could also lose her. This bill will greatly impact our community and with the flooding from Helene, we’ve already been through a lot and been abandoned by this regime.
