apparently the point of the government is not to lift people up it is to kill off anyone below a certain treshold...

ie Soylent green, Logan's run or the more modern "In Time" movie with Justin Timberlake (of all people)

apparently the new world looks at people as an expandable resource that is used to the maximum and then killed off to make room for some more expendable people. while the overlords fly in golden planes

Qasim, you have been leading me along on a path towards a deeper understanding of the reality of life in this country. As furious as I am at the hatred and cruelty of this regime, I am also wondering if this current situation may be what is needed to open our eyes? We have been floating along living comfortably in the status quo because it benefits white people. I am done with that. I need to understand that I have contributed to the current situation and any harm that comes from it. You are helping me become so aware. This needs to stop.

Thank you for trusting me to continue your journey of growth and understanding. I think you're right, there's an argument to be made that nations do not reform until they've seen the end result of injustice. Hopefully we can stop these atrocities before they get worse, but we have work to do before that happens.

You are right, it is structural eugenics, but is it not also pre-meditated mass murder? You have come closest to this understanding that I've seen, thank you!

I wrote that point exactly in response to the killing of the UnitedHealth CEO. How is killing him different than an insurance corporation denying a claiming knowing full well it will kill the person seeking life saving treatment?

Ah, will look up that post, yes, all Healthcare ceos and board members are legalized ( at least uncontested) serial killers. Thank you for drawing attention to the disparity and hypocrisy

he really is ascribing to 'survival of the fittest' right - by cutting all means necessary for those other than 'the have's' to not have access to needs to indeed be fit and strong and well and free from stress and mental health concerns ... add to this he is inciting mental health concerns left right and centre with his actions - again leading those who have not to their demise .. it is beyond a cruel game plan it can perhaps only be described to be evil

I am impressed at your naming this survival pf the fittest. Wow. The master race theory is exactly that. Isn't it ironic that MAGA is so against the science of evolution, and here they are putting it into practice.

Trump has a habit of taking words, twisting them into something horrible, that fits the narrative he wants to push. Then Faux News, other far right propaganda networks, and the whole maga podcaster/ influencer group mainline the same false narrative to the maga masses. Think " woke" and "critical race theory " and " Biden Crime Family." It is a toxic mix meant to rile up and activate the maga base. Now it's "radical left wing" judges who are not political at all, they just ruled against the Trump Regime. Then, when we compare Trump to Hitler, and his Regime to the nazis, because they are doing the exact same thing, they label us all as "left wing radical marxists." It's not a bug, it's a feature. Lie, do horrible things, then deflect by calling out whoever questioned them . "who are you reporting for? oh, they are horrible. It's fake news blah blah blah....." If you question something, anything, you have "Trump derangement syndrome " that is, you are crazy and can be discounted.

Very grateful for your framing, which I totally agree with, and rarely see elsewhere. It is the overview that makes it all make sense, and links all the hateful, seemingly arbitrary EOs and “policies” : hurt the poor, vulnerable, sick, elderly, addicted, immigrant, mentally ill, etc., so they die off and stop being a drag for the rich to have to pretend to care about (not even!) Give $ to those who already have plenty. Twist language and thought until it means the opposite: white, well-off South Africans are discriminated against, people born in the US to immigrant parents are not citizens and have no protections or due process rights, people who express differences of opinion with the Admin are treasonous enemies of the state, while violent insurrectionists convicted by a jury of American citizens are political prisoners falsely incarcerated. It is endless. All designed to reinvent Nazism, Apartheid, and post-reconstruction Jim Crow. Thank you for your clarity.

As someone who worked as a therapist for over 13 years, now works as a Recovery Coach supporting individuals in recovery from substance abuse, and have my own lived experience with both mental health and substance use challenges, this article makes me more insane than most these days. And it is this particular rage that is motivating me to make steps to try running for elected office in my community, running on the platform of mental health reform & advocacy. Several of my coworkers would not be alive today if it wasn’t for Narcan, and I don’t want to imagine a world without them in it.

It is WILD to me that RFK Jr. (or as I call him, LMNOP because he is not a serious person) is not at the front and center of headlines as the person now in charge of the Dept. of Health & Human Services. These men are dangerous and playing with people’s lives. And it is even wilder still that more politicians are not talking about, addressing, and writing policy around these cuts to mental health & substance abuse initiatives. Because if you haven’t struggled with these challenges yourself, you certainly know and have likely love someone who has. Through all of the noise & distraction that we’re bombarded with hourly now, big thank you, Qasim, for bringing awareness to what the very real threats to our lives actually are. We must be discerning now, more than ever.

Thank you for your clear and concise reporting. I have some understanding of the amount of time and skill is required to post as often and as in-depth as your posts reflect. It has been invaluable for my understanding as the American system is so different from the Canadian. I support your work the only way I can … by reading and occasionally commenting and restacking so it stays out there. Merci beaucoup! Mille fois merci!

The Fapweasel (Trump) is killing people by passing these laws and rescinding regulations. He may not be physically slaying these people, but he is causing their deaths by not giving them the opportunity to protect themselves. People have been dosed with opioids, which killed them. Kids have been bullied to the point where they took their own life. In legal terms, that is criminally negligent homicide! The people he isn’t killing he is hurting various ways.
