Hi Qasim, I wanted to ask about your grounding for putting polymarket in as "What the Public is Thinking". Polymarket is a gambling website; it's not a poll-- whoops I just saw when I went back in the caption that it's sponsored content.

Hmmm. I. . . don't love sponsored content that looks like news content and reinforces prediction markets for real world events as having predictive value. Would you consider perhaps reframing that as "fun gambling advice so you win when the Dems win" instead of "what people think?" Because framing betting sites' odds as "what people think" is why some people think Spencer Pratt should be in the Los Angeles mayoral general race, and I know you're morally opposed to such election denial. Thanks!

Ohhh I get it, good dad joke XD

Anyway, keep up the good work, and good luck.

Angie made this for the dads out there... or maybe it's for us canvassers! https://www.tiktok.com/@angieforfl/video/7673639405768281357

On a much more serious note, Qasim - will you be addressing what's going on in Indiana?

Bearly stop laughing. Siri didn’t like the word bearly. Can you imagine that!

I can nearly stop laughing at that dad joke!

White Nationalism has already taken over the media. This morning I heard on NPR that the "Iran" war has worn away at our military strength and morale. Uh uhn. What has worn away at it is Trump and Pete Hegseth's mindless focus on abolishing DEI and concentrating on body-image and testosterone levels. Their total fabrication of events on the ground. Their debasement of/firing of experienced, knowledgeable officers--often Black or female--has WORN AWAY at our military strength and morale. Our media is blind to the truth because they are so allegiant to propaganda.

Thank you for your journalism, Qasim, which is keeping so many of us sane. 💙

Both Kegsbreath and the Little Dicktator are both closeted gays I reckon as they are both obsessed with mens body parts. I prefer gay men who have the guts to come out of the closet myself. No, I'm neither male nor gay. I just observe human nature really well in my old age. Firing anybody that can defeat Kegsbreaths hold on power is strategic because he wants to be the hero in his own "end of times" religious story. GOD! Save us from your damned acolytes.

The religious ones--Vance and Hegseth--are always more dangerous. Bizarrely, God gives them the right to do ANYTHING! We need someone who is grounded by reality. All these lies, hocus-pocus, and mumbo-jumbo are horrifying me. This is why I keep being drawn to Mark Kelly almost irresistibly. I want to write him to ask why he takes AIPAC money. That's my one stumbling block. Otherwise, he's a rock.

Didn’t realise he took AIPAC money. All these religious people to my mind are simply cultists. They don’t even appear to know how insane they sound! They keep going on about not wanting Moslems in the country and don’t see anything wrong with putting up the Ten Commandments on classroom walls. They want to shove their beliefs down our children’s throats. They all disgust me. I don’t think Vance is the least bit religious. He was made to become a convert to Catholicism in order to bring in that huge audience of believers.

I do believe I saw that he takes AIPAC money. And I will write to him. People with "pizazz" make me suspicious (Newsom, Osoff). What is happening is so unnerving that I need someone solid. I've heard lectures and read about what astronauts go through (character testing) to qualify. When we are teetering on disaster, I have no use for pretty boys. I want someone rock solid and that is Mark Kelly. And we aren't choosing a "spiritual leader", we're choosing the Commander in Chief.

Who in turn gets treated like a spirtual leader because of peoples belief in a god that doesn't actually exist. Yet they commit such hideous crimes and say "god made me" so that they can excuse their depravity. Why do men need to control instead of just simply lead because they want to help mankind? It all makes me sick. They are killing people every day and they call it war when all it is is mass murder.

I've known a couple of religious people (only two) who I saw LIVE their beliefs. They NEVER talked religion or flaunted it. But that is rare. Hypocrisy in religion is rampant. I'm not in the least religious but I can see that the horrors and heart break of Gaza are wrong. People have always used "religion" as justification for oppression and killing.
