Trump will not arrest the war criminal Netanyahu- not with very volatile midterm elections. But Trump may begin to punish him by not publicly criticizing the recent European action, led by the UK, to sanction Israel and its settlers.
As a subscriber to Haaretz and organizations that are peace seeking in both Israel and the US, I sadly knew about Netanyahu’s warpath.
It breaks my Jewish heart that still too many Americans, especially in my Boomer cohort, support Israel no matter what. Leading the pack of shame is Senator Schumer. I have emailed and sent him snail mail letters reminding him to follow the Torah (Old Testament). “Justice, Justice you shall pursue.”
This week my communication to Sen. Schumer is to fully use the Jewish New Year, as we are asked to do, to self reflect and consider how we can be a more positive contributor to a just society, and to do our part to heal the many fissures in our world.
An endless war criminal,, and a source of eternal shame on our people and our homeland.
The reality of the Old Boys Network enveloping not only Bibi and DJT but Putin, Erdogan, and a number of others makes the blood boil to overflowing, and/but Truth will carry the day.
Are Israelis personally responsible for Netanyahu? Are we (any citizens around the world) actually our government? Are you personally responsible your government in England? Are you responsible for the fact that the royal family is paid millions of dollars a year for nothing? Are you responsible for the fact that you live in a monarchy? Are you responsible for British imperialism?
I understand the entire world is furious with the US. The US has in fact caused endless suffering around the world, forever. I didn’t grow up in the US, and I’ve lived in Central and South America and Southeast Asia. I am well aware of how the US has been destabilizing democratically elected governments around the world forever. I am, unfortunately, American. Never been proud of my nationality. Our government has always been complicit, indeed evil. That said, I’m not personally responsible for that. I have fought against it my entire adult life.
The true axis of evil now is Netanyahu, Trump, and Putin. That said, there’s no excuse for Democrats propping up Israel for decades. They are as much to blame for the genocide in Gaza as the Republicans. We need a third party in this country, but we have to continue voting for Democrats until we can get to the point. People not voting in 2024 as a protest about Biden‘s support for Israel is part of how we got here. What we really need in the US is a different system of government; the one we have was created by rich white slave owners. Minimally, the confederacy should never have been allowed into the Union. This country was built on genocide and slavery.
You are so right, Paula. I totally agree. And speaking of the confederacy, each and every state that rebelled against the union should have reverted to US territory, like Puerto Rico. Now we are paying the price as the confederacy has taken over the country and is destroying us from within.
Reminiscent of how the US ignored warnings about 9/11---hmmm you'd think the same people were involved! Imagine that. They were both "staged" as a path to an objective. They don't give a damn about the innocent people who died. None of this will change until the people rise up against it all. They won't arrest Netanyahu. Only some angry person could help us out there. Thank you for all you do, Qasim. It's horrifying to imagine if legacy media was our only news source, the cheerleaders for Team Trump/Netanyahu.
The strongest part of this discussion is not the question of whether one leader should be labeled a “war politician.” The more important question is whether political objectives, military operations, and their consequences can withstand independent scrutiny.
A government may win battles and still fail strategically. Military superiority can destroy infrastructure, eliminate commanders, or seize territory, but none of these automatically produces political stability, legitimacy, or a sustainable end to conflict.
From a field perspective, this distinction is fundamental. The battlefield measures immediate capabilities; strategy must measure what those capabilities ultimately produce.
That is why the evidence matters so much. Claims about intent, responsibility, civilian harm, political manipulation, or deliberate prolongation of war should be examined through documented decisions, timelines, orders, intelligence assessments, and independently verifiable facts.
The Middle East—and Afghanistan before it—has repeatedly demonstrated the danger of confusing tactical success with strategic victory.
The real historical judgment will not be determined by how many targets were destroyed. It will be determined by what political order emerged afterward, what human costs were imposed, and whether the war actually achieved its stated objectives.

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani has already conceded that his office has no authority to arrest war crime perpetrator Benjamin Netanyahu, and DJT is Bibi's lap dog. Good agenda for 2028.
And who slaughtered 650,000 civilian Palestinians inpast three years at least plus maimed tens of thousands, caused genocide, educide, ecocide, medicalcide etc along with tens of thousands of illegal arrests and torture against detainees not even charged. Destroyed Gaza and land theft, resource theft and same in West Bank. Hague the entire frankenstein zio project over age 16, all complicit in Israel
Do you know who is currently the POTUS and his Administration?
That ain’t gonna happen!
But I have to believe you KNOW this.
If Netanyahu is to be arrested or captured in any way it’ll not happen in the USA.
The Middle East by now, should be ALL IN on handling an ARREST yourselves.
He lives there. Not here. 🤔

Good luck with that. The administration war criminals should be arrested too but it's unlikely.
This reinforces my image of Netanyahu and Trump as two sides of the same coin.

Crazy that it's even controversial to support international law being applied to war criminals
Zactly!

Netanyahu is doomed, no way out, process him to hell!

Yes they should but odds are like a snowballs chance in hell.
Who would arrest him our seated president who rapes children and has given him billions for genocide?
