While the war in Gaza may have started as a defensive war (we’ve attacked people for far less), a year and a half in and Netanyahu has made it clear that he wants the destruction of the Palestinians. I read that he is in talks of displacing the West Bank, which did not even declare war on Israel. Also, very few people like Israel. Most people want to get a rid of the country. There is a huge public outcry. On October 8th, 2023, while Israeli authorities were still trying to find who all had died and war with Gaza was not even on their mind, anti-Israeli/pro-Palestinian protests were cropping up across the world. We must condemn the actions of the Israeli government, and we must not condemn the Jewish people nor the Palestinian people for their government’s action. It is not spoken of enough, but Israelis are the biggest critics of their own government. We need to give them the ability to displace Netanyahu while not depriving them of defense from hostile neighbors. That said, sending mega bombs helps no one, and we must replace the democratic senators who voted for such actions. (As well as the MAGA senators, but that goes without saying)

More democrat hypocrisy against democracy giving ICJ war criminals unlimited bombs to unilaterally bomb children in occupied Palestine while pretending to care by legislating for children to have legal representation in ICE detention, instead of abolishing ICE, protecting essential workers and their families, and demilitarizing the border. https://www.hirono.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/2025_fair_day_in_court_for_kids_act.pdf

I just received a letter back from one of my CO senators who voted to keep sending IsraHeLL billions. It’s a BIG FAT lie of a response: “Hamas’s terrorism, hostage taking, and massacre of innocent civilians on October 7, 2023, were horrific and we unequivocally condemn their actions. We support Israel’s right to defend itself and remain committed to upholding its long term security as our closest ally in the Middle East. We have also been adamant that Israel must adhere to international law, including allowing aid into Gaza and protecting civilians from harm.”

I’m furious over this response.

Even if you are a rabid supporter of Israel, the specifics are revolting.

We're not giving them rifles, or even armored vehicles. We're giving them bombs, that can only be used to massacre civilians in the hope of killing some of your enemies.

Giving them bombs is like giving them nerve gas. In this conflict, bombs are not a weapon of war, they're a weapon of mass atrocity.

It is incomprehensible to me why US Senators would vote to continue funding and supplying WMDs for Netanyahu’s genocide. I am grateful for my Senators, Welch and Sanders, for their humanity and courage to vote against it.

These Zionist assets need to be held accountable for war crimes against humanity at the ICC. AIPAC should also be investigated for their part in pushing for funding for Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

It feels like nothing surprises me anymore…Jesus. I think I will also do something different this time and write thanking the 15 who voted against genocide. It is the bare minimum AND also apparently they need a lil cookie to keep doing the bare minimum…well we’re stuck with these losers for another couple years at least so I will thank them and hopefully they’ll think about doing more than the bare minimum in the future.

I would add, for those whose Senators did the right thing, please contact them. They need to know that their constituents support them. Your voice matters!

The fact of the matter is that corporate dem Schumer supports the Zionist oligarchy that purposefully divides Israeli citizens and pits them against innocent Palestinians. As of 2024 he’s received $1,727,974 from AIPAC.

And recent hero Booker voted to send the Zionist Oligarch more bombs. Follow the money for truth.

I am soooo disappointed in Senator Cory Booker. He makes history with a 25-hour speech, then 3 days later, votes to keep bombing Gazan citizens. Has he ever seen a wagon carrying seven dead children? Because I have, albeit on social media, their tiny little feet bouncing as the wagon was pulled over uneven ground. I have that sight burned into my brain. I'll never be able to unsee it.

Democracy has been a prop for resource theft to placate consumers through a history of coups, election interference, assassinations and regime changes, a hobby of both parties that the orange rapists is showing like Bush The Minor before him, doesn’t even require basic intelligence.
