Recently here in Kuala Lumpur an American tourist and vlogger recorded on his Meta glasses an incident involving an e-hailing driver without the driver's consent and posted it on line. He has since removed the video as the whole incident caused a lot of controversy.
There is a clear plastic cover you can put on your license plate that prevents an overhead camera from reading your plate accurately--it blurs half of it.
Otherwise, protect yourself with Reflectacle glasses. They are expensive--over $200--but they prevent surveillance cameras from accurately photographing your face. When you wear them your iPhone cannot even recognize your face (if you are dumb enough to use that feature or to have an iPhone--trash it). They look like light sunglasses. There is a 3 week to one month wait. I wear mine over my eyeglasses. Otherwise, we can just start walking around with real masks. It's Halloween time and I found a great wooden mask to wear to demos. Of course, Flock cameras are geared towards cars. If you bike or walk, you are less susceptible (though not entirely). I've noticed a large number of cars with windows so heavily tinted I cannot see in. I don't know if Flock can. It's illegal to tint your windows more than 50% here but I'm sure this tint is at least that. Law enforcement doesn't seem to care although it's a big problem when they are pulling over gang members (who prefer rented SUVs with heavily tinted windows so in large cities it's wise not to rent this kind of vehicle or risk being pulled over in certain neighborhoods). If you don't want to be photographed in your birthday suit there are anti-EMF (electromagnetic field) clothes. I'm not sure if cameras can see through that material. An invisibility cloak is what you need made of material that cameras cannot read through. I know that wifi in a house or office reveals everyone in the building to law enforcement so please wire your devices. Wifi is not something anyone should be living with anyway. It's really bad for your health.
I recently distributed a flyer down both sides of the street on a city block. I covered about 25 houses. The great majority had Ring doorbells with the camera. A few houses had another brand of the same bell/camera combination. Two houses, bless their owners, had no doorbell at all, just an old fashioned knocker on the front door.

I've found a large uninhabited island on which we can start humanity all over again. Everyone who is admitted will have to read "Lord of the Flies" first so we don't start down the wrong path. I'll be bringing my kids and grandkids. Digital devices will not be allowed. The island is elevated enough so that climate change won't drown everyone in years to come. No airport and you must come with all you have in a rowboat.
You would be ratting people out just walking down the street, no evil intent on your part, and they make you buy the surveillance camera yourself to do their dirty work? Young people are too smart to fall for this

I've been following a story related to this on WCVB Boston. A man, with a HISTORY of child predation, has been arrested for filming children and infants, changing clothes or being changed by parents. The police have the many photos he has taken. Obviously, these stupid glasses are just one more bit on nasty shit we do not need in this country. (And, in addition, this man has been jailed for this before, and yet they keep freeing him back to our streets.)
With incarceration the default method of punishing everyone they can get their hands on, there is clearly no room in our jails and detentions centres for the predators, fraudsters, malefactors, and perverts (of all types) well proven to be a danger to the vulnerable, which can be any of us at any moment in our lives. Law and order itself has been perverted by the crooks currently running the country, both politicians and greedy kleptocrats.
I find it maddening, and NOW we develop new toys for them! We well know these people will never learn their lesson--they're perverted. A run-in with a man like this could affect a child's entire future life. And yet--we do have money to build concentration camps for harmless, innocent people.
The entire human genus seems to have been seduced by the flash and glitter of the latest, newest toy - irrespective of any consequences. Our ability to reason from a to b to c has been cut short at b by the constant turmoil and jangle of the latest, newest claim on our attention. The letter c, standing for consequences, disappears in the toxic fog.
