The Dad joke could be improved by positing a "Mexican" Muslim friend. Enchiladas don't come from Spain. (Still funny, though.)
Ehhh maybe. Non-Mexicans also speak Spanish, and I have Muslim friends of half a dozen nationalities that speak Spanish. Perhaps adding "speaking" would've made that point more clear. Anyway, it's a dad joke, not a policy paper :)
