Thank you, Qasim, for these observations.

"...step out of your comfort zone and engage with the many different communities..."; as Americans, we can be grateful that our civil society and its reasoned relationships foundations in constitutional governance and democratic or people-based rule of law and equal protection give us the public and the private spaces to learn to change the space in which personal security and mutual engagement (zones of comfortable and mutually secure choice and action) are the norm....

Worth remembering, too, is that any one person's efforts to enlarge or in other ways actively and securely engage with many more other people, in many more situations, and with novel perceptions of relationship and shared interest, is consciously predicated on the mutuality of such a choice.
