Angie Nixon has my vote. Thank you, Qasim!

When I first joined Substack, Rachel Vindman was one of the first people I followed. I even posted a comment to which she replied and I thought she was a nice woman and that her husband was a hero for testifying against DJT. I have to say I’ve rarely in my life been so disappointed in anyone as I am in the Vindmans.

Her racism and anti-Islam opinions are every bit as wrong as the antisemitism she quite rightly deplores (bearing in mind that deploring the Netanyahu regime and its genocide and land theft on the West Bank are not equivalent to supporting Israel’s right to exist).

This was very eye opening and well written. Thank you Qasim!

Did the film "Serial Mom" not have a bit where the murderess's motivation for the killing was that the victim was wearing white shoes after Labor Day?

These remarks are typical "the lady doth protest too much": in the desperate search for material to found an accusation, what you end up doing is naming your own attitudes, because you cannot countenance the idea that anyone would not have your views, and so therefore the target of your insults must likewise despise you. It can't be any other way. Hence: there is “inherent trained racism against Jewish people in Muslim communities” that is “encouraged” and “nurtured.” Yes, well we know there certainly is the other way around.

You see it again in the pre-emptive strike: we know we would attack them, so it's obvious that they're going to attack us.

Or bribery: once any embarrassment is dispelled, officials start to expect a bribe and parties inure to the normality, to the point of expressing astonishment at any suggestion that bribery might be unethical.

Oops! Awhile ago I listened to a Rachel V podcast- once- and thought she seemed a bit vapid. Bored rich wife looking for a hobby. I guess charity work isn’t ego-gratifying enough. To AV and EV, I laud your past service but am disappointed by who you’ve become.

I listened to Rachel’s podcast

The shoes are fine except for the heels. Heels are bad for the feet, ankles, knees, hips, and spine. So ladies LOSE the heels. Heels also make it difficult to run in an emergency.

I had the same thought!

They were fairly low heels, pretty wearable. I bet the Rachel witch wants her to wear spike heel pumps. That type tends to.

They still put the stress in the wrong places. Weakens the bones. If one can't go barefoot then the best shoes are ballerina flats or the totally flat shoes with individual toe places. Women need to start ignoring designers and do what's best for their own health.

Well, I do go barefoot as often as I can! When I was a child I walked to school barefoot, carrying my shoes, and then put them on when I got there.

CA, so no snow. Even I wouldn't walk barefoot in the snow for more than a few steps.

I remember first getting on Threads and following Rachel Vindman. Within a couple of months I had unfollowed her b/c I found her posts to be really inappropriate and contentious. I see not much has changed

Bad Jews such as ADL, AIPAC are not friends of ours, they are racist, dividers and using bad, aligned groups to discriminate, I'm Jewish and I've turned on my flock, they are haters, right now they can outrageous, they make sick, whomever they are, disgusting pos! Go back to Israel with your distortion of truth

I had hopes for the Vindmans. Now I will stay home in Missouri and work against my (can't think of a polite word) Republican senators.

The Florida Democratic Party and chair Nikki Fried are owned by AIPAC. Grassroots candidates are getting drowned out by the AIPAC funded candidates. If Vindman is elected, he will be another Fetterman. Ms. Nixon has my vote.

The Vindmans are a disappointment. After whistle blowing Trump most people thought of him as a hero but it turns out he is not. Rachel has a foul mouth and obviously thinks being hateful will win friends.

It's what rabid Zionists do.

Thank you for all this information! I ran and got my sample ballot-I had selected Angie Nixon over Alex vindman. My next section to research is Governor and lieutenant governor. Who is your pick?
