Critical Recap: Let's Address This
An extremely productive week due to your support, plus a new Dad Joke
Texas Democrats show what real fighters look like, a guest post by a Jewish-American writer, elevating the fight for climate justice, a debate with a former Republican on Israel and Palestine, and corporate media capitulates to fascism. I also spoke on two panels in New Orleans this week alongside Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and California Attorney General Rob Bonta. Check out the recap below and be sure to subscribe and share to continue to elevate our human rights advocacy.
Call to Action
Over the last year I’ve worked with an amazing team of engineers to build an app called Amplify. If you use Instagram, I want you to click here and download Amplify for free (Use NETROOTS25 at checkout). Amplify replaces the “link in bio” approach. Instead, it allows you to auto DM a link to your Instagram followers right when they ask you to send them the link. That could be a link for a petition to combat injustice, a fundraising drive for a cause or candidate, or to sign up for a march against fascism. I use it myself, and it has been an excellent tool to organize leaders for the causes I’m fighting for. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Dad Joke of the Week
My kids may take after their mother, but they’re definitely a microqasim of me.😅#DadJokes

Thank you for all you do Qasim. You show taste and an old world gentlemanly-ness that is missing in politics. Yet you still hit hard and directly at the same time. Quite a feat.
Your dad jokes are, what's the word? Groan-worthy. A new word for your once in a lifetime sense of humour. ('-')
