The problem with mainstream media (exept Fox, OAN and NewsMax) Isn't what they report, it's what they leave out. And often their "takes" .

CNN for example seem hellbent to have rightwing commentators every time they discuss politics. People that gets confrontational when they are confronted with the truth. They view that as critic. It used to be Rick Santorum, it's now Scott Jennings. And then theres the lack of pushback when they have magas on. Why not confront them about lying? Is it so important that they come back? Dana Bash for example got J.D. Vance to say "‘If I Have to Create Stories… That’s What I’m Going to Do’. Kaitlan Collins got him to inadvertantly agree pardoning Jan 6-ers should not have been pardoned. But on rightwing media that is presented as "Vance "destroyed" Kaitlan Collins. Both of these journalists have underperformed before. But when they're good they're good.

Trying to read this was a major chore. I can't see what some of the organizations being rated are, but I appreciate that use use a guide to verify your hunches.

I used the link to subscribe to Ground News but was charged $100 for a year. Did I do something wrong?

Sorry, Qasim. I'm having trouble with the idea that Ground News considers BBC to be a source with "High Factuality". See my analysis: https://brittanynackley.substack.com/p/bbc-part-of-medias-genocide-justification

Search engines are the same way now. Knowingly misleading and misinforming the public.

The disruption of the world economy sends tremors to the foundations of economic norms. Where cocoa and palm oil come from won’t change. Let us think about palm oil. So we buy a lot more palm oil, like 4.6 billion pounds from Indonesia in 2023. So Indonesia buys $10 billion from the U.S., but ships us $38 billion in palm oil, footwear, clothes, etc. Trade imbalance? So what? https://hotbuttons.substack.com/p/casinos-is-revenue-trump-thunk-then?r=3m1bs

Back in 72 I had Walter Kronkheit (sp?) to tell me what was going on. Unfortunately he was irreplaceable.

Honestly the fact that we even have to worry about this shows how bad things have gotten under this regime.

Thank you for the Ground News heads-up. I had given up on mainstream media. I browsed a little, and so far, I am pleased.

Yes, Ground News sounds good and all that but who’s behind their bias yardstick, or is it an algorithm that creates the bias delineation?

That's a good question. I will ask and find out. FWIW in my actual use of the app I've found consistency in their ratings.

The mainstream press is the PR office of the military industrial complex. They are never to be trusted because they field too many experts that are connected and support empire. Mark Twain stated, "If you don't read the newspapers, you are uninformed. If you do read them, you are misinformed."
