FIND YOUR FRONT LINE AND STAND ON IT.

I've been very proud of veterans standing up for our Afghan allies. You make a promise and you KEEP it. We couldn't have done our work in Afghanistan, without Afghan interpreters, as well as the fighters. To go back on a PROMISE is verboten. My mom taught me this ... not to mention that the world loses its trust in "America." No excuses - a promise made is a promise kept.

Good Trouble is what our American hero, John Lewis, taught. Of course you don't stop because of age. Get your cane and walk, protest. Hurrah for the 71yo woman.

My old brain is fading, can't remember the following others, except N.H. -- and using that tax money for righteous causes for children.

The Supreme Court’s current stays on lower court TRO’s on Donald Trump's Executive actions, orders and interferences rely on a presumption of legitimacy that he is not entitled to, given the merits of the evidence of his disqualification and could be a powerful check on obstruction efforts and otherwise circular defenses employed to sidestep many merited claims, blocked by similar presumptions, and could also be used to justify action in other branches, or enable career officials and officers to disobey unconstitutional orders with greater confidence they will receive proper scrutiny, regardless of downstream removal enforcement outcomes.

You're right Qasim, that very individual act of defiance and heroism ignites others to follow suit. Please keep these stories coming. Also readers, make sure your individual stories of what you've witnessed get recorded. Report them to substacks that you're subscribed to. Every act of defiance to this regime weakens it. Day in and day out. It's the little people not the big the mass protests that get recognised and fuel people's determination to RESIST! One becomes many!

Thank you for writing.

And yes, please!

There’s a stereotype that military personnel are mostly Republicans and MAGA. The Trump administration would certainly like everyone to think so, given the stunt he pulled at Fort Bragg where they screened the soldiers for appearance and political affiliations.

So it’s doubly heartening to see veterans disrupting that narrative and doing the right thing by their comrades from Afghanistan.

Thank you for those words

of hope in a desert of cruelty !

My generation , baby boomers , are fighters . Unafraid and ready to join forces with all of you ‘youngsters ‘… we ( across the world ) need to keep up the good fight, even it is only to raise our collective voices against tyranny and evil everywhere - and to stand by you in America / to rid yourselves AND the world of the malevolent presence of the trump and his crooked administration.

The Continuing Resolution is a healthcare travesty on the least of our citizens. We exclude the poor and the marginalized from access. Did I say the marginalized? Who has marginalized in a free democracy and the wealthiest country in the world? Why are they marginalized?Racism kills, both fast and slow.
